So just ouf of curiousity, when Tarkov came out how did people know where to find quest items and where are the extracts? I cant imagine not having the maps and guides when I started so how did it work back then?

Ive died multiple times this week to blatant cheaters (ratting rooms and getting naded from impossible spots, prefire 1 taps, ect) . Taking a break for awhile.

A helmet has finally saved me from what would have otherwise been a headshot...
It was the fucking airsoft helmet my scav came with. Survived 2 rounds to the head before dying

Went up to snag me a mosin and he was definitely not where I remember him being and I didn't get eyes on him before I got blammed.
ID: hlnix5cBeen playing since June and can't say I've ever seen one. The roadblock near Outskirts is the best place I can think of on Woods to snipe scavs these days.

ID: hlnu3tjI really enjoy the MDRs. The 5.45 version can fit a huge mag and has high enough base ergo that oversized mags don't make it take a year to aim. The 7.62 version packs a punch though it's limited to 20 round mags. It says the effective range is 500, and I've taken out scav snipers from 420 before with it, so it's not wrong. Fairly cheap to mod too as there are only a handful of things you can do to them (silencer, handguard, scope, laser...maybe barrel? I can't remember for sure) and they don't need much. Drawbacks are that the ammo is spicy. 995 or M61 depending on caliber, and they both might as well be gold plated.

Is it normal to see kitted guns spawned in raid? Till now all the FiR guns I've found have been stock, but I saw this AK in king, looked like it spawned rather than being placed there, but I was surprised all the parts were FiR, and it doesn't look like it was from a scav either.
ID: hln7g2hYes, you can find mid-tier kitted guns in certain locations.

Anyone have any idea what I should try to get for a Rivals 2020 Half Mask? I see some barters up for crazy things like Labs Black or Green keys, or a Taiga, etc. Frankly I'd love to just get some cash for it, as I tend to like to gear up above my pay grade so to speak, and having more of a cushion would be nice. I've never seen one just for sale though.
ID: hlp0yqkcarefull for the fee, you ll end up having to pay more because of the fees when you want to post it. i recommend making a barter trade or just simply try to see the fees first, just post it for 1mill and see from there if you raise or not.

What’s the easiest or cheapest loadout to kill killa?
I’ve just recently found the keys to kiba and I’ve been trying to loot it and I’ve just gotten murdered by killa 3-4 times in a row. I played interchange a ton yesterday to get a ton of kills with mP-155 and I never saw him.
Though that could have been since I was looking for scavs so he was probably dead before I got there but since I’ve been pretty much spawning and going to kiba I’ve been fortunate enough that he’s been there every time….

Well i had enough screwdrivers and pliers to equip a small army of mechanics.
I just keep gathering stuff and then going through it all every so often on the wiki to see whats needed for quests and barter trades etc. Hard keeping track of it all though. I'll give that site a look,thanks.
