They were immediately chill. I let them know I was coming through the door with my knife.
Once I was in I got my gun out and he goes “oh… you’re beefy (I barely had anything lol). Well, if you kill me that’s fine. I accept it.” And I could hear the sadness in his voice. He thought for sure I was about to turn on him.
He offered me help and I told him I’m just chilling. So he and his friend said they were going to extract and we parted ways. Nothing happened. Just three dudes saying hi and moving on. It was nice.

Spectacular. I get that lying over voip has been a staple of video games forever, but this is a great example of why it's just always better to not be an ass. Other really great examples are -

You could get something awesome on a trade.
And tied for all of those reasons as being the real number one? You won't look like a fucking loser plastered on reddit for baiting someone into an easy 3v1 and dying horribly lol.

ID: hokmtijAll my VOIP uses have been negotiations when I'm in a pickle and just got done slaughtering. So I tell them the loots up for grabs, don't come directly to me or I'll shoot on sight. It's worked maybe twice now. Failed once when the auto timeout occurred so it never went through. Either way, tf you coming up to me for after I just killed people including their teammates.

ID: hokn2h7To be fair, some players (like me) have allowed people to go past in this situation. I'm a long time friendly only scav and breaking VOIP promises just rankles me. I hope there are enough of us that people don't just lose all trust for VOIP.

I have had really good fortune rn with the game. Some guy tried to kill me when I was a scav and his teammates were friendly with me. We scav extracted. I then got like 6 odbolbos from a raid and then spawned with a LedX as a scav.

I had something similar happen, I was also at new gas and a 3 man heard me run up. They told me to leave so I just sat silently and waited then one said "alright, you asked or this" and all 3 pushed the same direction 1 by 1 and I got everyone without even getting hit. Felt great
