The fact that people who have played the beta said it’s fun and Ubisoft of all companies is like “here try the full game before launch, and if you like it then buy it” makes me applaud them for this. Definitely going to download the trial.

Loved the beta, buying the game for sure. Steep was such a good game, I played the hell out of it. I hope they keep making and expanding these.

exactly, might as well give it a go. i played the beta and thought it was pretty fun. although i hated the the in world dude-bro vibe.

i'm keen to see what changes have been made (if any) since the beta.

I had a crazy time on the beta where I kept randomly crashing out the course and completely loosing my way. It was really buggy for me and unplayable, was that just me? The overdue vibe was a bit much too!

Important to note that you only get 4 hours of playtime during the trial week. Puts a bit of a damper on it, but hey better than nothing. The 4 hours is also per console, not account, so if you own Xbox and PlayStation you can play 8 hours (can't verify this, but it's just what I've seen on the RR subreddit so far).

EDIT: Some new info stickied on RR sub states that the 4 hours is per account. So 4 hours across all platforms.

Probably because everyone would be asking which sports are available during the trial. Hopefully none of the sports are locked behind anything other than a short tutorial and you can try anything you want...I personally don't need any more snowboarding or wingsuiting after playing steep. I'm curious about the bikes though.

Game makes no sense. It drops you into a Neverending hill that you ride a bike down. Nothing else to do. Very boring. Controls feel cool dats about it.
