It's a bit depressing that we can look at free talk weekend from one year ago and see that the top comments are still relevant. Bad servers, fix matchmaking, fix sound etc.
Come on Respawn, isn't it time you gave Apex some love?

Can we please get different ranked rewards in the future?! I reached Diamond 3 times, for me there is no reason to reach Diamond for the 4th time because the only thing i get is another Badge and trail. Why can’t we get for example an unique skin or something which makes it worth to reach a certain rank again

What the fuck is this matchmaking? I’ve played eight games this afternoon, and collectively across those games my teammates have TWO kills. Two kills across 16 players is horrible.
Edit: make that 9 games, 18 players with 2 kills between them. The last game had a plat 4/gold 4 duo that broke off, died instantly and flamed me. I’m done for the day.

Can we talk about the current gaming narrative for veteran and new players? I don’t understand the goal here as far as why are we playing the game. Too many times I get on ranked and my teammates (randoms) hot drop with the entire lobby just to find no gun and lose my BP :/
I’m not saying being a loot demon and avoiding every fight but no one is smart enough to know when to get distance and when to engage, flanking or watching a battle before going head first just to get third partied by the squad who was watching the same gun fight. I mean players should know their skill level. I know I couldn’t take a team of apex predators but I know I can make a difference by getting in damage and taking cover while hoping my teammates apply enough pressure while I heal and reload.
It’s a battle royale so the end goal should be attaining first place instead of trying to be the highest damage or dropping 30 bombs. I’m not the best player but I’m definitely not the worst I would expect teammates to not drop Fragment AGAIN after being decimated by the entire lobby before first ring close.

Game has literally never been in a worse state. Servers are so trash atm and the sbmm makes it impossible to win a game.

I just picked up my first Rampage after the patch. It was already charged up!! I don't know how it happened. It was after the drop and nobody else had it before. So yea. it is still broken.

Anyone else's audio seem different after the update? Everything in my game sounds more quiet and compressed and now sounds from directly in front of you seem to come from almost behind you

2+ years now dealing with audio direction issues and still there has been no fix, enemy footsteps sound like they are coming from all directions and it’s hard to win 1v1s.

Ashe' ult needs a minimum distance cast.
I'm trying to cast it to the high ground in the distance, but the game decides I'll go 2 metres as it detected a piece of grass in the way.

I miss the train and the construction site.
ID: hsm2z6qYep the train was great on WE as it added some much needed variation. Sometimes provided alternative hotdrop location, sometimes came in clutch for some GTFO, sometimes had some top loot and always allowed you to quickly zoom around WE to locate remaining squads. Since they removed it, Fragment hotdrop has defo intensified.
ID: hsm2oskRemoving the train heavily contributed to the Fragment problem on WE, it was such a nice rotation tool and took the hotzone madness away from Frag a bit.

Back to everyone using rampage again. Was a nice break from it those few days.

I really took for granted how much more enjoyable the game was without the rampage. Every team in both ranked or pubs has at least 1 rampage user. The sentinel being back is nice tho. I’m still enjoying this season overall. It’s miles better than the shitshow that was season 10. Season 12 is going to be a critical point. Hopefully it’s good as season 9 and we can see a player boost. With all these vacant jobs at respawn though, this is seeming unlikely. No point really mentioning SBMM or servers. Beating a dead horse.

Literally all the issues complained in there still remain. I used to live this game and dev team. I pray for another game to come out that scratches that itch fro me like Apex does. I want to be done with this abusive relationship.
