Booooooring

Sorry guys, I just started RE6, Leon campaign, and I find it super boring, does it improve in other campaigns? I completed all the RE games except this one and the revelations, and I feel this is the worse I've played.

Sorry for the RE6 lovers, it's just my impression

2 : Anonymous2021/11/27 21:23 ID: hmbk160

The worst game I ever finished.

ID: hmbvay2

Completely agree. I love Resident Evil and RE6 is just a straight up terrible video game let alone a Resi game.

You must not've beaten code veronica then

ID: hmbour1

Code Veronica is awesome tho T_T

3 : Anonymous2021/11/27 22:10 ID: hmbqf33

This is funny cause I just started this game and beaten the first few chapters of Leon’s Campaign and i’m also bored haha

4 : Anonymous2021/11/27 21:45 ID: hmbn2nm

Play RE5 instead. It's superior.

ID: hmbn6kl

I completed it in PS3 when was released, RE6 is the only one I did not complete 🙁

Then you've done your part. Move on to RE Mercs 3D.

ID: hmbovkl

It isn't tbh. 5 is just a worse 4, really, whereas 6 improved on 5 in most every way (except level design). Better inventory, better partner ai, better combat, better gameplay, better soundtrack.

Despite what people say, Chris's campaign is the best one in RE6 from a strictly gameplay perspective. Has thr best end boss and knows what it wants to be right away.

Leon's campaign was advertised as a return to survival horror, but those that said so clearly only played the first hour or so because it devolves into silliness quickly. Jake's and Ada's campaigns are worse than Leon's, too.

6 : Anonymous2021/11/27 21:37 ID: hmbm01m

Oh god RE6 lol.

Dark times with that game. No seriously the game is too dark i can never see anything haha.

I hate that game with a burning passion and I don't know whats worse. RE6 or RE operation raccoon city lol

ID: hmbpdkp

ORC is definitely worse. I at least finished RE6 playing it co op. ORC is a game I don’t even want to play long enough to complete it, it’s sooo bad

ID: hmbm3m2

Yeah I'm feeling the same!

7 : Anonymous2021/11/27 21:20 ID: hmbjm2u

RE6 is… garbage :/

ID: hmbjszi

It really isn't.

ID: hmbjznq

It really is

8 : Anonymous2021/11/27 21:26 ID: hmbkdz9

I found Leon’s campaign to be the more fun of all the regular 3s. If you find Leon’s to be boring then you probably won’t like the other 2. Chris’ campaign is a bit more of an action movie, while Jake’s has a mixture of action and puzzles in it.

ID: hmblehy

Depends on what you like. Chris' campaign is a full on third person shooter with nuanced combat.

9 : Anonymous2021/11/27 22:27 ID: hmbssem

Lmao I had so much fucking fun playin coop on that campaign

10 : Anonymous2021/11/27 22:00 ID: hmbp5fh

Yeah RE6. The weird thing about RE6 is that it looks like a good game, and has a lot of the qualities of a good game… but just somehow manages to be a chore to play. I think it’s okay to play co-op with a friend but I definitely wouldn’t play it single player. Even playing it coop there are so many parts I just didn’t enjoy despite really wanting to. Overall I give it a 6/10 and it’s never going to be in my top resi games but I would recommend people play it co op.

Thanks for your opinion dude

No worries! Don’t get me wrong I know some people actually like and enjoy this game and I think that’s great. I just struggled to enjoy it for a few reasons but I definitely think it’s at least somewhat fun to play co op.

You still have four campaigns to do. Each is somewhat different but largely the same due to the same director. Leon has Zombies and is more about suspense (eg. Zombies fall out a building or get out of the ground and attack). Chris had J’avo and is more about fighting room by room with armed mutants. Jake is more J’avo and more about the adventure (eg. Unusual and vast environments to traverse), and Ada’s is a mix of both only much tighter and about puzzle mechanics. What unites them is having to collect items to get to the next area or kill a certain enemy, like RE5.

Ultimately they will share themes of the others in each campaign - Leon will cling to life off a plane, Chris will deal with a snake that stalks him, Jake will have to hide from a monster with a drill, and Ada does basically everything.

SPOILERS…maybe depends on how you define it.

I really liked Leon’s story in 6 mainly because I can akimbo his handguns. Which is all I do his entire play through. But to each their own.

Chris and pierce play through starts kinda hot then kinda Simmers down to a crappy obsession like thing for a while kinda cool if your interested in the whole watch a man lose his mind thing

Jake and sherry is a breath of fresh air adding the option to go hand to hand with Jake which can be pretty sweet when you figure it out.

When you unlock it, Ada is Ada if you know her story and tendency then you pretty much already know.

13 : Anonymous2021/11/27 23:45 ID: hmc36gn

Yup, too much a shooter. I couldn’t finish it. Maybe it would be more enjoyable now after years and years lol

14 : Anonymous2021/11/27 21:23 ID: hmbk27l

Give it a chance. The first 20ish minutes of Leon's campaign is NOT indicative of how the rest of the game plays. It was a really stupid decision by capcom to throw in a forced walking segment at the very beginning of a game that gives you such advanced and free movement. It's a flawed game but it gets better; just be patient because this segment leaves an inaccurate impression.

Thanks, thats what I want to know.
