Absolutely yes, 1 remake is in the top 5 of resident evil games easily

Hell yeah. Best of the series, in my book. It would be a crime not to at least try it.

REmake is definitely top 3 for me, if you don't mind tank controls then can't reccomend it enough.

Is this serious? Every game except remake? I wouldn’t feel right knowing I’ve played every RE game except one, wouldn’t even be a question. You’ve already played way less desirable RE games in the series. Its arguably one of the best ever made. No brainer yes.

I'd say it's worth a shot. It's on sale for $5, right? I'd put it around #8-10 in the series.

Yeah, it’s definitely a quieter game in terms of story but it has a pretty fun buildup and a great atmosphere throughout. If you play the 2015(?) remaster then you can use the default controls instead of the classic, which are much easier and help the game feel less dated

It is good, but it is old. I was blown away by the graphics when it was originally released, but the gameplay is Pre-RE4.

If you like the original games (pre-RE4), I highly recommend it!

It's probably one of the best remakes ever

It gave a better fear aspect and was really good on GameCube.
The only drawback was the "red deads" that have to be burned, the rest is just usual to major challenge.
Play it to try, see how you like it.

If you like Resident Evil, yes. Just remember it was released in 2002

It’s the best RE till date, I’m confident enough when I say you should play it (despite fixed camera angles and such)
