One of my favorite things from the event, no joke. lol I still think Assault on Dragon Keep is possibly the best DLC ever made and having a whole standalone game to take it so much further is super exciting.

ID: hc8tfn1I'll be honest - I've not gotten around to Blood and Wine yet. Or even Hearts of Stone. Shit, I never even finished the main quest of TW3(though I got pretty far ~80 hours). Not that I didn't enjoy it, but once expansions were announced and whatnot and I upgraded my GPU, I said I'd wait to play the whole thing again. Just haven't done so!
I'm actually looking for a game to play right now, so I think your post may have convinced me to do this. Cheers!

As much as I’m excited, with seeing how quickly Borderlands 3 dropped to $10, I’ll likely wait for the same to occur by Summer 2022.

Damn, it’s $70 minimum if you want PS5 optimization. Didn’t think gearbox would go down this road but they also charged that for Godfall if I’m not mistaken. From day one buy to deeeper sale

Am I the only one that feels as though this could have been a Borderlands 3 DLC instead of a stand-alone game?

I'm wary of Borderlands stuff in general after I waited so long for crossplay to come to BL3 only for it to come to everything but Playstation.
If/when this has real crossplay or hits $20 (as all Borderlands games inevitably do) or releases the inevitable version that comes with all the DLC I'll bite.

ID: hc8j7ikI agree it was likely an issue on Sony's end rather than 2k / Gearbox. But the end result is the same. The PlayStation platform is isolated from the others, making it the worst platform for the game.
I just hope Wonderlands (which emphasizes party play in the trailer) is able to bring real crossplay.

I regret ever playing Borderlands 2 . I am now addicted to the whole damn universe. I hope there are some viable melee options since I saw someone with a bow and a hammer, hopefully not abilities

We also see the hammer being dual wielded with a vladof gun.

Borderlands has been garbage since 2. Honestly pretty dissapointed how generic and boring the series got. Hoping this brings back what made 2 so good.

ID: hc8hh7jIt's most likely only in third person when using certain abilities. Like a move where you're spinning really fast wouldn't work well in first person.

I strongly advise you to play 'Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep' from Borderlands 2 DLC. I'm only assuming you haven't played it because of your surprise at a full game in the same style looking very good. It's absolutely amazing!
