ID: hei5fbkID: hej01wxRE4VR's entire development was bankrolled by Facebook, none of it is being developed by Capcom, facebook are using their own studio Oculus Labs along with contracting Armature Games to make this thing, other than licensing the IP from Capcom, this is a game entirely paid for and developed by Facebook.
Frankly they're free to do what they like in this circumstance, RE4VR wouldn't exist without Facebook's funding, and these titles bring interest to VR, a growing but fragmented market is certainly better than an entirely dead market.
Plus, don't be surprised to see more of the same thing once PSVR 2 drops, then you'll see some real "fragmenting".

ID: hehszneYou can get vr prescription lenses, makes my experience much more enjoyable.

This is just making me want to get an Oculus even more. First it was for most Flight Sim but this will be nice
ID: heitorgRead up on VR motion sickness. So many units are bought and immediately sold because people don't realise how bad it gets.

ID: hejj1tzMore like people don't want to get used to new things and give up right away. VR motion sickness goes away after you get used to it for most people not extremely sensetive and done right it can be avoided totaly.
Most people jump into VR doing something super intense right away and blame the tech instead of their own patience.
I got a little sick the first time i lost control in Elite back with my first headset in 2016, sure. I should have taken a break but "pushed through" big mistake. Today, i'm basically Neo and nothing can get me sick.
ProNoobTip: Take it easy and start with stationary experiences and take breaks often. Your brain is adapting a new concept.

If it wasn't on Oculus and their bs Facebook requirements I'd get this (and the headset) in a heartbeat.

ID: hel8pkvYou need a Facebook account to use the Oculus, and if the decide to ban your account the headset is bricked. Well not completely true you can get an account free set, for 700$ and an 180$ service fee every year.

Holy fuck I’m so excited for this. Already bought a quest2 just for this game! I’m gonna love ripping through enemies with the typewriter.

So how will this play? Is it the entire game as we know it but just in VR or something similar to the Chronicles games?
ID: heiywhhPractically the entire game 1:1 in VR, some small gameplay tweaks here and there however, and cutscenes will still be played like they traditionally would be.

Agreed. I have an Index and I REALLY want to play this, but I guess I won't get the option. VR exclusives are ridiculous, it has a limited enough playerbase without anything to fragment it even further.
