- Hello, I am thinking of getting this from a private seller and is wondering if someone here in the community knows what publisher made this in the first place? Thanks!
-
Looks like it's 3D printed, but pretty terribly. I'd avoid buying if I were you.
ID: helj0fzID: helgbitYeah. I think I’m passing this one. Thanks for the help!
ID: heluii3You would be better off getting a beretta and buying that umbrella logo on Amazon and perma-gluing it to the grip
ID: hemfponThey sell expensive air soft replicas all over the place. If you’re a gun guy though you might as well spend the money on a real gun. you could consider getting a beretta 92/92s and get a samurai edge grip from dsgrips . com (no spaces obviously). Super easy to do but a little expensive.
ID: hemdm49Yea that’s a pretty rough print
ID: hememxuPerhaps if they sanded it down some and used a dremel tool to buff out the details, maybe then it'd be good enough to sell.
ID: hemyvusI'd message the seller and tell them to invest in some sandpaper before they start trying to sell their items
ID: hen1f4wMe too.
-
What the fuck is that? I know it's trying to be like a samurai edge, but it's just... terrible.
ID: helg908Yeah, I thought it looked weird and could not have been one of the Samurai Edges when I looked at those. Thanks for the help anyway!
-
What the fuck is that dogshit its not even 3d printed it looks like cardboard
-
Looks home made, not from a ‘publisher’. Looks pretty poor quality as well. I’d recommend not buying it.
ID: helgev5Yeah, I’m gonna pass on this one.
-
bro there is a really good airsoft version of the samurai edge in pretty much any variety. this looks like the cheapest 3d print. could even be carpboard.
-
This is a bad 3d print
-
Bro, imma be real, that's pretty low quality 3d printing. If you want the real deal you have two options. Tokyo marui airsoft gun, they did a collaboration with Capcom but it cost around 1k or you buy a real Barretta 92 and buy parts to make a close replica.
-
Looks homemade and not very good quality-wise. I'd recommend getting an original from ebay (you can find models for as cheap as 200 bucks) instead if you're willing to pay a bit more
-
It’s 3-D printed but it was probably a free file. Doesn’t even look sanded down or anything
ID: hemhif5Also looks like it was printed as one single object which is terrible for mechanical prints.
-
3D printed and terribly so. I’d pass if I were you.
-
Thats just a horribly 3d printed model. No publisher would allows something so badly done to get sold. You're better off legit buying an airsoft 92FS and getting custom grips made instead.
Save your money, you deserve better.
-
Is this a joke?
-
Go here:
In this page is a list of links to information to make your own real Samurai Edge. They also sell, IMO, the most accurate grip replicas. I'm in the process of making my own. I still need a Brigadier slide and an inox barrel.
ID: hemlsowThose look really cool but are very expensive. I’m gonna have to look closer! Thanks for the help anyway!
ID: hemmn2fI've seen others both in this subreddit and
with grips from here While not cheap, they are somewhat less expensive. -
Looks home made. Definitely no an airsoft replica (I got a bunch)
-
Looks like a 3rd grade art project
-
thats a terrible 3D print build, purchase a real berretta and then find the appropriate mods, you'll enjoy it SO much more that a plastic prop or pellet gun
-
If you can legally own a firearm, you can get a beretta 92 or similar and get some custom grips and inox barrel.
ID: heluoe5Lol i chimed in with the exact same idea, great minds huh?
ID: helqoc4I was literally looking and pricing all this yesterday, why the inox barrel?
ID: helsatdThe samurai edge typically has the silver barrel to resemble a samurai steel katana. At least from all the research I've done on the variant of a 92 pistol. Check out YouTube and a few Google searches. There's some great videos on custom builds and where to get parts. Inox barrels are hard to come by right now. At least the threaded barrels are scarce because covid shut down beretta factories in us and italy

He’s new to 3d printing probs running on a budget rig based on the edging. You should be happy, a lot of 3d printed botch jobs hide their sloppiness with editing, this one you can see clearly.
Tell the seller you’ll pass, also tell him maybe to work on his craft more before attempting to sell botch jobs to people. These “sellers” don’t give a damn about the reputation of the craft.
-
There's an airsoft version of official... well, a Capcom collaboration with Tokyo-Marui ( Airsoft guns manufacturer from Japan) if you looking for :
-
If you want the airsoft replica made by Tokyo Marui, then good luck. They were in production for a limited time and anyone reselling won't do it for less than $600.
There's other Samurai Edge full-metal replicas though, made by WE and if you mix and match different pieces and attachments you can get a similarly badass looking gun yourself.
Here's mine for example:
-
Don’t get that, pretty sure an official airsoft samurai edge was released but it’s pretty expensive
-
If it's legal to own where you: Tokyo Marui madr a 1:1 airsoft replica of the Albert 01.
There's a decent following of airsoft Samurai Edge users
-
Just buy an Airsoft Samurai edge
-
Do I dare ask does it really shoot?
-
Do not buy this. It’s fucked up in almost every way possible. It looks like it was thrown on the ground repeatedly
-
I don’t know what you mean by publisher, that’s an obvious homemade item. I would pass. You’re better off getting a airsoft beretta or even a real one, painting the grip, and buying a STARS logo to glue on.
-
That thing looks straight up 3D printed.
-
Yeah this looks like shit! Don't touch it with a shitty stick. You can get amazing airsoft versions of the actual stars gun online.
-
Buy a real m9 Beretta.
-
OH GOD IM FREAKING OUT This is a samurai edge with the old-school umbrella logo instead of a s.t.a.r.s or even the neoUB logo
This screams bootleg to me, other than the shit quality of the gun itself
-
For $10 it's a decent enough slef space filler, but never anything more than a prop to be on display on like a top, far away shelf. Very poor print quality
-
You can get the real deal for $500 ish $350 ish if you manage to find a deal on military or police trade ins (not advised, beat to shit)
-
Looks like it's made of wood
-
uhh kendo?
-
An M9 looks so wrong with an Osprey Suppressor
-
The Samurai Edge at home
-
Ghetto Gunshop
-
I seen some 3D printed stuff but damn wtf did that person print out of cardboard?

100% agree this is 3D printed.
