ID: hhkl98qID: hhkytkuIf Intel was smart, they'd spec up a new 'Light-HEDT' with Alder Lake + 'Z699' (Z690 + a motherboard spec requirement, similar to how X570S is just X570 with a requirement for no active cooling) with the added requirement being an ~80 lane gen5 pcie switch which allows for splitting the 16x gen5 lanes into 64x gen3 lanes (or 32x no contention gen4 lanes, or even 64x gen4 lanes with 1:2 contention)

Have not seen any leaks for a Zen 3 non Pro Threadripper though. Where are they?
