Leon has the least trauma. He doesn't lose a bunch of people he cares about. He just shows up and everyone underestimates him but he ends up looking cool.

Jill and Chris had to pick up the pieces of the betrayal of their team while being actively antagonized by Wesker, and Chris lost a bunch of his men. Claire tried to move on but got kidnapped and sent to two different zombie prison islands.

Ethan gets two games of wife and hand trauma.

Leon gets picked for cool guy jobs and does a bunch of rad spy shit, flirts with ladies, and gets to say one liners. He leads the most charmed life of any RE protagonist.

Lol. On one hand that's kinda true, he's the most James Bond-like protagonist of the bunch. On the other, seeing people die all the time took its toll on him eventually. You can see in Damnation that he almost stopped caring completely because he doesn't think he can save them anymore, and in Vendetta he's just drinking it away
