Edit: Oh! And it can never be knocked prone because it always lands on its feet. Has a propensity for mischief and knocking strangers' drinks off of the bar in order to start a commotion from which they quietly disappear.

ID: hjheh0mRules aren't too complicated. If you have Advantage, you roll 2 twenty sided dice and choose the better result and Disadvantage is just the worse of the two dice. The math is super simple: twenty-sider plus modifier must be higher than the task's difficulty (example: 5 is a cake-walk, 10 is roughly average, and 30 is nigh-impossible), and the 11 or so classes allow for some interesting possiblities.
Paladin/ Barbarian is basically the Doom '16 Doom Slayer but with deity-powered magic, Monk/ any Arcane class partially turns you into a Dragonball Z character as you run at higher speeds and hurl a fireball into a horde of zombies, and Rogue mixes with nearly every damn class. And that's before the subclasses which change some of the features you get.
Ever wanted to hurl spells in plate armor1 while carrying a longsword? Eldritch Knight Fighter. Rogue that steals souls and uses them to improve skills? Yeah... creepy but it's there. Want to play a bard that mucks with people? Well that's just Bard before the sex, but the College of Whispers gives your weapons Psychic Damage (which is a rare damage type and not commonly resisted) and you fuck with their head through other abilities.
Plus there's lots of races to choose from and your DM (Dungeon Master, the person that runs the whole damn circus of Psychopaths at your table) can 'homebrew' content on their own for their game or with players. And it's completely okay. The DnD Beyond website has a homebrew section for custom... everything. Items, races, classes, subclasses, etc.
