Just go, no guide no tips no glitch just randomly go about with no fast travel.

ID: hkhqf8wCan confirm. Fast travel is bad. It kills the immersion. (The predefined travel routes in morrowind were fine, they were part of the world)
ID: hkij27hMorrowinds quests were honestly great, I really wish they would bring that style back. You had to read the quest info and pay attention to what people said. It honestly felt like an achievement just finding the locations and landmarks they used to guide you
ID: hkiaojjThis is the way. Best tip is no tips, go blind into it, get lost, explore, do whatever you want to do, go wherever you want to go. I wish I could go back to lauch day back in 2011 just to experience it fresh new again. Good times, what a game.
ID: hkhisdjThis! No fast travel. I’ve been playing for years in VR and i literally walk everywhere. That’s how you find all the cool rando dungeons sitting out in the wilds.

Avoid taking an arrow to the knee, that pretty much ends your adventure.

Ignore the main quest until you are ready to deal with dragons. Explore, explore, explore.
ID: hkhum6uNah, do the main quest until you get the shouting voice and then explore anywhere you want.
Otherwise you'll find stuff you can't take advantage of.
ID: hkhx95wYes the shouting voice can be really helpful. I don't know about the latest version of the game but when I played the Game of the Year version on PS4 a couple years ago, sometimes I would get stuck between objects and the only way to get out was to shout myself out

Start with whatever class you want, you'll end up as a stealth archer.
Or you'll get into magic and realize Destruction is the worst of the ways to deal damage, but refuse to admit you made a mistake and wildly defend destruction as the strongest damage dealer, constantly moving goalposts and refusing to acknowledge reality.

Explore around as much as you can. Archery is your friend. Be on the lookout for status effects when you take damage. Have fun!

The AI is brain dead. If you’re creative enough, you’ll get away with anything. I walked into the palace of a Jarl, killed the Sorcerer, put on his clothes, and dragged his corpse onto a table in front of about 15 people. A guard walked up to me and said “Hey, you. Do you know anything about this?”

Keep an eye on your sweet-roll. Those seem to get stolen a lot.

Use synergys when crafting and doing alchemy (brew potion of blacksmith - go to blacksmith craft Item of alchemy - rinse and repeat)
ID: hkhgezcWhat I like to do with alchemy (I think it's alchemy) is use a little magic to take the souls of the people I dislike and forge them into weapons. they will forever be trapped. Unable to move or scream. And they will bathe in the blood of my enemies.
