Quest runs at at night or day?
I keep thinking it'll be easier at night, less players about. Every time it turns out more stressful.
Tried on customs to get to Tarcone directors office. Spawned near dorms, crept my way around the edge dodging the gunfire.Eventually made it to the warehouse. Gunfire inside, waited a little.
Went to enter, and realised i forgot the key. Decided to loot the lockup area instead.
Got into a gunfight, 45 rounds and a grenade later before i realised i was fighting a bush.

Having a lot of weird sound bugs lately, especially after playing for an extended session (6+ raids in a row). Sounds will be glitching out/layering over themselves weirdly. Every time myself or another scav/player shoots my game drops frames (down from smooth 60 to 10-15). The issue is always fixed with a game restart, but it's annoying to go find a closet mid-raid to fix this problem.

Today I killed a three man squad they were low level but felt good cause they were all together I killed two with one mag and run out of ammo and then got lucky cause the third guy either had a gun jam or also no ammo cause he also reloaded but I was faster reloaded and killed him. First time ever for me

How likely do we think we’ll see a wipe this year? Me and my friends didn’t really play beyond the first week of this wipe. I think we went a bit hard on the last wipe and took one out. We’re getting keen to jump back in again, but haven’t followed development much the last few months.
ID: hkl5qeeI’m betting wipe will come with the lighthouse update. Previously, there’s been a wipe pretty much every time a new map has come out.
Considering there seems to be plenty of other changes, I’d bet on it. Likely in December, but given it’s BSG, who the fuck knows if that’ll happen.

I tried scav runs on reserves just to see what happens, I have never been killed by a pmc, always some random player scav who just decides to gun me down. Does anyone else have this issue?

ID: hkpqtibYeah I feel like I get killed by scavs way more than pmcs as scav, after I typed that comment I got attacked by 3 more player scavs on interchange, one shot at me first and missed and I took him out, lost .1 scav karma… another one did the same thing but he was marked as traitor so I didn’t lose any, hope they can find a way to make scav karma not annoying in that way

I haven't played tarkov for about 3-4 months. Just did a couple of Interchange runs. Did they nerf the loot in ULTRA medical or interchange in general? I did like 10 runs to ULTRA med. and the best thing I could find where IFAKs.
ID: hkpp3c6Basically all the high traffic high tier loot was nerfed, it’s weighted by how often it is looted. Lot of kinks to iron out, and plenty of empty marked rooms.

So after I died it told me my raid time was 14 min and I killed a USEC at 16 min mark hows that possible? How does that work?

I love to play this game solo, but my luck always ends up bumping into squads of three that are sweaty as fuck. Even if I wait out 5-10 minutes in a bush they always tend to be exactly where I am.

How about we punish murder hobos with less health and having injuries on spawn, and no weapons. With worsening consequences as their karma plunges and worsening karma for scav v scav extract camping. How bad at this game do you have to be, to extract camp scavs as a scav.
Edit: We could always just remove the cap on their scav cooldown. Everytime the kill a scav it adds a scav cooldown time to their cooldown, so kill 10 scavs your next cooldown is 10 times longer. Or when your karma gets low enough just no more scav for you. period. you dont get it back by improving your karma. try not being a c*nt next wipe.

Has the Unity patch upgraded performance at all? Either in-game or in the menus?
ID: hkpe7aoThey just migrated the code, there is no new optimisation yet. Technically it is still the same engine but with more features to simplify coding and to add support for new technology like DLSS. Next patches, especially when they will add DLSS, I hope we will see some improvements!

I read something about (Scav)karma. What does it exactly mean and where can I see it?
ID: hkpbafjUnder traders it's your reputation with fence. You'll want to keep it above 0. Don't shoot other scavs as a scav unless they've shot you first. Taking the car extract as a PMC gains you fence rep as well.

I'm getting server disconnects multiple times per raid. The ping/packet loss indicator isn't showing in the top right of the screen like it usually would if you're about to get kicked.

For some reason, when swapping to a looted backpack, my dumbass keeps forgetting to actually equip said backpack, and don't notice till I make it to extract; today marks the 6th raid I've done this
Why do I keep forgetting this shit
ID: hl5yr2ptry click+dragging it over your backpack slot then hitting del. When you release mouse button it'll equip and it can shave precious seconds off a backpack loot.

Whenever I try and build a pistol with a red dot the dot appears very low in the sight when I ADS. I've tried loads of configurations but can't seem to find one that feels good. I'm trying with the Glock 17 at the moment but seem to have the same issue with all the pistols. Any tips?

Why is it if I get shot at by a scav and they miss i have to let them have a go at killing me again or lose a bunch of fence karma? If we have to wait for them to shoot back we should get at least the regular exfil karma for being killed by a rogue scav
ID: hkt5mugI had 7.5 Fence karma, got shot at by two player scavs, hit by one. Return fire and kill them both, mainly because they were garbage and probably can only kill scavs who aren't trying to fight them. Got +0.03 for killing a "traitorous scav", and -1.6 for killing his friend. So that's a net LOSS OF OVER A POINT AND A HALF. Dropped me to below 6, so now bosses aggro me again. There has to be a better way to implement this karma system. Maybe make it so if someone in your scav party kills a friendly scav, everyone you brought in is now fair game.

Is it just me, or is playing like CoD the best way to play this game?
