Nice build and congrats. Interesting choice on your fan orientation. How are your temps?
ID: hmedm7eID: hmf5onhYeah your fan situation is honestly pretty bad. If you optimise it a little you’ll see way better temps
ID: hmeg590at 4.8 ghz?
ID: hmgmpngHmm theres a decent chance your fan setup is hindering rather than helping. The purpose of the fans is to push heat away from the CPU/GPU and out through an exhaust fan... but I feel like the side/ bottom fans are a bit counterproductive atm. But great build overall.

Newegg: how many fans do you want? OP is 21savage:alot
ID: hmef3hoI’m a big fan of fans for no reason
ID: hmevt9kA fan of fans should always have the fans fanning the right way

As others have mentioned, your fan orientations are... unusual.
Bottom fans should usually be intakes and top fans outputs, since warm air rises. You are kind of battling physics a bit, if you stick with this orientation. Doesn't make a huge difference, but there is no reason to not change it.
Also having 6 outputs and 3 intakes (assuming the top fans are intakes, can't tell their orientation from the pics) will introduce a lot of negative pressure. This means air will get sucked in through gaps in the case that don't have an air filter, which will make it more dusty inside long term. Its usually best to try and have roughly the same amount of fans as intakes and outputs, or slightly more intakes for a bit of positive pressure. That way you can achieve better airflow and avoid a dusty case.
ID: hmevh3xsince warm air rises.
Convection has zero effect against this many fans. Cold air is entering the back through the open pcie slots hes not starving the gpu of air at all, the dust you mentioned is evidence of that. he'll just have to clean his computer every other month.
Negative pressure is totally viable and often has a positive effect on radiant thermals inside the case.
Edit: Well then. Thanks anonymous, I'll spend them wisely.
ID: hmfcogpShit I just take the side off my case and blast it with compressed when I think it's looking dusty. I am on a 1600x Vega 64 Morpheus though so probably doesn't generate the temps some new CPU's do.
ID: hmez5mxI clean my computer constantly but not because it’s dusty just because I don’t want dust to build up, and none of the fans not directly connected to components have been effecting my system at all negatively
ID: hmg87f9Wouldn't pushing air out the bottom while having negative air pressure just cause that exhausted air to re-enter the computer as it rises back into a vacuumed area?
-
just noticed the 4 dominator plat dimms lmao. what speed?
ID: hmejtlc3600
ID: hmejze964 gb 3600/ cl16 kit? i actualllyuse half of that kit. myself haha.

Awesome build! I have the 6800 XT variant of that same gpu with a 5900X it's great. Mounted mine vertically last week.
ID: hmezrnmMy 1660 was vertically mounted I kind of loved the look ! The bracket mount on the card wouldn’t fit on the case mounting area lmao so I had no choice
-
Does it levitate with all those fans?
ID: hmejatvim a fan of xtreme airflow myself
ID: hmeif29Absolutely
-
Nice love that backplate.
ID: hmelusbThanks bro!
-
This reminds me, iwas so happy when i built my build for like 800 dollars.
-
that huge amd logo would bug me, is that standard? also the whole cable and tube management looks a bit too shoddy for the high end look I think you're going
ID: hmecs7kIt’s a backplate and the glass wouldn’t fit back on the case unless I did some hoopty shit lmao you right
ID: hmetvvzIt looks great
-
How much did you pay for that 6900XT?
ID: hmefsf8You don’t wanna know
-
I really like the small touches of color, all liquid cooled is nice too.
This shouts "I like performance/$ pc but I'm not an elitist douche."
Also 5950x with 4 sticks of 16Gb or 8Gb is pure sex.
ID: hmeviyeThanks bro
-
At least you got a real build after using all the fake ones.
-
Idk if I’m blind but it looks like the 2 rads and the 3 fans at the bottom are all exhausting.
(Nice build btw looks sick, very jealous)
ID: hmf0rcjMe sitting in my 86°F room: Nope you’re not blind
ID: hmf0z58Why this setup in particular? Wouldn’t positive pressure be better?
ID: hmf0sb186°F is equivalent to 30°C, which is 303K.I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand
-
negative pressure for the win
-
at least 7 exhaust fans? ... hmmm
-
Like everyone else, I'm having a hard time understanding the fan orientation, but other than that build is sick and 6900xt/5950x is a heck of a combo
-
Unusual fan arrangement. Bottom fans pushing air out??
-
Your fan placements are shit. Nice build though.
-
011 dynamic case right?
idk why but it looks kinda weirdID: hmehv9oIt's the XL version.
-
Seems more like you decorated your fan collection with some pc parts then the other way around.
-
this kinda sucks
-
Cable management is good but fan placement is 1/10, almost meme worthy
-
This is why I downvote high end build threads.
-
I see you're Team Red all the way, eh?
In all seriousness though, very nice build!
ID: hmenzyyThanks!

Do you have any issues with that V1tech plate messing with your temps? I had one on my blower 5700XT for a couple weeks and it was the only time I ever saw 3 digit junction temps
