Honestly seeing them take RE 1 Wesker who was honestly a pretty pathetic, low rent villain and turn him into the ubermensch is pretty hilarious.
Like in RE 1 he's just a corrupt cop. He's just a cop who simps for Big Pharma. I don't think anyone in 1998 saw this dork wearing sunglasses at night and thought "Yep, that's the big bad of the whole series. That is who all roads in this world lead back to."
