- Finally!
-
Damn, you won't spend many better twenties.
-
What kind of discount is that? I love the Tales series
ID: ho8pfhyID: hoa8sqfThat's how much they are right now? Awesome!
-
Yup! I was waiting for ToB to finally not be sixty bucks. Apparently I should have finished scrolling. RIP my nearly empty wallet.
-
Good titles!
ID: ho8pxfjif symphonia pops up for ps4 too. would be good.
-
Is it good? Is it turn based or rts system?
I have been away from jrpgs for quite some time, because I like old school style of exploration and combat, and I haven't find newer games that have a compelling story that hooks me up.
ID: ho998u2Its none of those. Its its own thing, i can't recall any other game with this system of gameplay. When you encounter an enemy yo go in a 2.5d battle arena and its like an action game.
But to me, tales of Versperia is probably one of my top 5 jrpg of all time.
ID: hoaceqbIt's an action RPG with combat sorta reminiscent of a Tecmo Koei game...at least that's how I view them. It's been a loooong time since I've played a Tales of game, but that's how they've always been
-
Would you recommend these for fans of Symphonia? I've put probably 200+ hours into both ToS games and absolutely love them.
ID: ho9egmxI would find it hard to imagine you wouldn’t enjoy them. Especially for $10.
ID: hob0v4ePlay berseria before vesperia, it makes vesperia better. Only time I recommend playing sequel before the original.
ID: ho9yp0oEach game changes and has different story but much remains the same.
Vesperia is really good but older.
Berseria is good as well tbh but newer.
Tales of arise the newest game in the series is my personal goty.
-
At first glance, I thought it said “Prince of Bersersia,” and I’m thinking “what kind of a knock off game is that?”
-
I haven't played vesperia definitive edition yet. Just the original on 360. I guess i have to pick this one up as well for $10. Definitely worth it. Already have Berseria and Arise of course.
-
I have played Vesperia and I liked it a lot. One of the best JRPG I have played in 2020. I might pick up Berseria too one day.
-
Anime
-
Hope you enjoy the games. ToB is an underrated gem
-
I've never heard of these games. What are they about
ID: hoash8gIt's a JRPG series, meaning each game is its own standalone story and characters. It's not a story connected series so you don't need to worry about missing out anything.
I'd recommend checking out reviews for them to get a better feel for how the game is. Tales of Arise is the latest entry to the series so you might find more content for it.
-
Nice
-
Enjoy! Those are some good ass games!
-
I'm playing ToB right now, so far so good. It's very pick up and play jrpg. I don't easily get lost like other jrpgs.
-
Yo let me get that discount code
ID: hoauhmpThey are on sale right now.
-
I remember playing a game called Tales of Symphonia back in the day. Is this the same series?
-
Both are great, play vesperia before berseria. If you can deal with it the voice acting is more impactful in Japanese with English sub, tales of is the only series I play in not dub.
-
those games good ? Do they get boring fast ?
-
US always gets so much better deals. I should really make a US Account...
-
How do these compared to Tales of Arise? I'm working through that now and really enjoying it. It's my first Tales game.
-
Dang, you and me both pal. I got Berseria 2 months ago after wanting it since 2017.
-
Oooof ToV no good
-
But your poor ass has $0.83 in your wallet. I mean bbn i have zero but thats ok but thats like having a penny like bro XD
-
tales of serbia. 10/10 would play
-
Got these games for $10 each physical. Along with Tales of Zesteria. I always say that as far as jrpgs goes the tales of series are like fast food.
Comforting and always there for you but they are no full course meal. (Trails of Cold Steel games).
ID: hoaucb3Trails. And you basically robbing yourself of half the meal without Trails in the sky trilogy and Trails from Zero and Azure.
