So the actual video and information is super underwhelming. He didn't train them to play Doom so much as run straight forward on a large rotating ball. It is honestly debatable if they even make the video game to running on ball connection. All they know is that if they run straight forward while in their harness they get sugar water. They don't turn corners, when they come across an enemy they will stop when they hit it and still run straight forward, and still get the sugar water reward. The game appears to have some sort of auto shoot mechanic as well as invincibility set so their is no "punishment" or even lack of reward for doing the wrong thing. As long as they run straight forward while in their setup, they get the reward.

ID: hoz1d5vIt took IGN reviewer 75 hours to complete Path of Exile's ten acts. It takes ~5 hours for speedrunner and 8-12 hours for your everyday poe player. To be fair, I think it took ~40 hours for Preach to complete acts. It was a blind playthrough, no googling, no tips from chat.
