Can send videos on PS5, however that doesn't solve your problem.

I go the round about way. I’ll make a short clip, save it on the ps4/ps5. Then connect my phone via remote play. Screen record and play the video there. Trim the video and there you go. It’s much harder to do for longer videos because there a lot of waiting.

Easiest way would be if you have a YouTube account. You have the Share button on your ps4 controller for that purpose. Once it's uploaded there you can access it from your phone without trouble.

Oh i thought you only wanted to watch the clips on your phone. Well, there are sites which allow you to download clips off YouTube, like

but maybe there a more direct methods, like others mentioned with USB cables and whatnot.

I usually transfer all videos I need to USB flash drive, then connect it to my mac and then air drop it to my phone if needed. To be honest, it would be awesome if Sony add additional 20-50gb to the cloud storage for PS Plus subscribers and allows Users to safe footage they want to the cloud, then allow users to access the footage thru PlayStation App with ability to download/share.

If you have android, you might try connect your phone directly to the PS4 and see if it connect to your SD Card as a storage and transfer footage right in, worth a try. You can get a USB to SD card dongle. Remove SD card from a phone, plug it in dongle, dongle to PS4 - done. BUT I don’t know what file system is for Androids, the SD card needs to be in FAT32 or EXFat in order to work on PS4. Other suggested to upload on YouTube, or record a footage from messages.

Either way it’s tough without PC/Mac.

No u need a USB stick 3.0 or greater I think

2.0 is fine, it's just slower. 3.0 is only needed when playing games off from an external drive.
