2021 in review: Lady Dimitrescu: Icon of the year

I felt like she was pretty underutilized, I wanted more castle overall tbh.

Which makes me optimistic that the DLC for the game may gravitate towards her character since now they're developing with the strong reception in mind.

ID: hqequt9Oh man the factory scared the shit out of me, I just beat the game yesterday and those mech-type mobs had my anxiety at an all time high the entire time lol.
I was thinking how the game might not have high replay value, (minor spoiler ahead) but they were pretty smart with how they added more guns like Chris’s OP assault rifles and infinite ammo options if you fully maxed out a particular gun after your first play through, which genuinely sounds fun for extra play throughs. As someone who can’t handle horror games, so my “normal” play through was a one and done, I would totally be down to try another difficulty with those options haha.
ID: hqeu3uuThat’s because this game was essentially re6 all over again in that the game is divided up into different areas that each have different play styles. And guess what? The castle had the gameplay everyone wanted. The rest of the game is just… trying too hard to appeal to too many other types of players IMO.

Unfortunately even Capcom wasn't able to predict she would be this much popular when the made the game. cause if they did, they'd increase her screen time even more. She really is a fascinating character not just for her looks, but because she has the potential to be an interesting antagonist.

Her performance was great, but honestly I think some thirst influenced this. Out of all the characters to come out this year she won? AND she was only in 1 part of the game.

Before playing I genuinely thought she was a big part of the whole game, especially with all the awards her character is getting, so when I beat her I was taken aback for a moment lol. She was great for sure, but her time in the game is so short .

People act like she had a small role. Bienviento and Moreau had small roles. Her and Heisenberg had the biggest roles in the whole game imo

I think the duo of Colt And Julianna from Deathloop was the best part of that game and it's a shame that they were overshadowed for two big reasons.

Juliana from Deathloop was a better character all around. She felt like an actual person with her dialog between her and Colt.

She reminds me of Cyberpunk.
Lots of pre-launch hype and then you get the game and she’s gone fairly quickly, never to be seen again.
RE8 was a step back from 7.

I think it's a shame that the castle was so early into the game. It was easily the best part. I had an absolute blast with it, and it kinda felt like the game peaked way too early.
