Haven't played this game since release but I played a good 200 or so and loved it. The power fantasy is awesome and I didn't experience the majority of the bugs others did. I only have good things to say about the fun factor of this game. Rooting for you guys to have this expansion be a hit.

I've been off since launch, whats the DLC about? I'd love to see some open ended maps!

Do you know if the DLC includes campaign missions or is it all about raids? Also it's free right?
ID: hsllnlrI expect the expansion to be paid and be a large addition to the game with its own campaign and side quests along with additions to end game whether its a new mode or more expeditions.
The most recent release is the free bit that added 4 expeditions and QoL features.

ID: hsnawerDefinitely expecting some story content with the expansion(like the other poster). The way that teaser was presented heavily implies it'll add something in that direction. But no actual details have been presented and the closest thing to any date is spring 2022 for some news, if memory serves.
Probably also going to be paid, but I have little doubts that it'll be something good and worth paying for, with where the game's been headed lately.

With a name like "World Slayer" I can imagine a raid-like mission stopping a giant creature, something that "actually" requires 3 or more Altered to kill.

Yeah nah, they fucked up with the state the game was in for the longest time after release. Recently, when they did the advertisement patch, I tried to get back into it but nope, can't be bothered anymore.
ID: hsly1toMaybe I'm a bit biased since I pre-ordered it after playing the shit out of the demo and then didn't touch it until after they released new horizons, but I'd say the game is in a pretty good state right now and is genuinely so much fun. You probably should try giving it another shot

I’ve been playing with a friend coop for the last several weeks and we’ve been having an absolute blast. Have had very little connection issues but I’ve seen others mention it.
