ID: hwf2uclExactly, playing COD I don't even turn on any other modes besides Team Deathmatch because I'll be trying to play the objectives and everyone else will be playing Team Deathmatch in a mode that isn't Team Deathmatch.
The only way to get most people to play the objective is if the game is designed to force you out of certain areas and into other areas... which is basically what Battle Royale does.

ID: hwehfhnControl is super good for warming up. I hadn't played in a few weeks and on Tuesday I was having trouble getting a feel for the game again. By midnight last night I had pulled a 14-0 as Wattson and I was winning way more fights. Issues with the mode aside, it needs to stay. They can axe arenas for all I care
ID: hwfbazlControl is good at teaching you crowd control, awareness and movement since there’s always someone coming at you from every angle. Easier to learn how to strategize and fight efficiently and overall a better warm up than arenas imo. Really high energy too I hope it stays or at least goes into a rotation with arenas
ID: hwehmawExactly - Control is hands-down the best and most efficient way to warm-up; it's instant action, and prior to this mode being available the only real option to warm-up was to play Arenas or BR and live with having to wait 5+ minutes to get back into the action as soon as you die.

Because people have always wanted free for all or tdm mode where you don’t have to care about anything but running and gunning. Stats aren’t even recorded so why not have some fun
ID: hwe6vkwAgreed. Get wild, try out different legends, weapons techniques. Practice against other players without consequences. Sometimes you'll get stomped, sometimes you'll do the stomping.

I don't understand why people aren't playing crypto too, many matches i see the capture point completely full of caustic gas and fences which can only be countered by crypto. I have been playing crypto to prevent this kind of gameplay and matches are much more fun.not to mention the new crypto is pretty good
ID: hwel98tI see a ton of fuses, who can counter wattson and caustic pretty good. Maybe people just are still a little skeptical on crypto at the moment.

I think some people just want to practice with certain guns or try out things. But it doesn't hurt to just go in the building for 5 seconds to capture it. Or if your base gets captured, go there, free 1v1 training.

For the same reason every gd random on your team wants to drop in fragment over and over and over...
They want to play a death match game, not a battle royale game.

Because it’s an LTM that gives you nothing for winning and its also the first time we’ve ever had a mode this close to traditional TDM. It’s way more fun to just run around going for kills rather than capping the points.

We do need a balance of both to maintain the flag. But yes, you are right everyone just wants to get kills. Its mianly the same on other games like COD, people just take advantage of the few trying to get the flag and kill them.

Have you played kill confirmed tho? Those matches will end with me collecting 30 dog tags and getting 15 kills, meanwhile my teammates have 40 kills and no dog tags collected hahah
