ID: hx60r3eRdr2 is a 2 disc game. So technically it still counts… if rockstar decides to make a ps5 version of rdr2 it would likely be 1 disc.

I remember during the early PS3 days when some people were saying that Sony were stupid for using an expensive format like Blu-ray, that DVDs had more than enough space for any game. Seems funny looking back.

ID: hx4raemI would of assumed one disc be mostly sound/audio assets. Unless something has changed in recent years, I always thought sound data used more space compared to other data. And GT7 is supposed to have improved sound design compared to GT Sport.
Also 4K visuals probably take a ton of space, since each car is rendered in 4k Textures, especially in photo mode

Love them 100GB UHD discs. Big advantage over Xbox (for people like moi who still use a disc). Must admit the Xbox cross gen compat is cool too though. They both have advantages.

It's wild now two disc games haven't died. Like that was a thing back on PS1 when discs were first used. The discs got fancier but games got even fancier. It seems so archaic but, hey, whatever works

ID: hx6elykAnd those are all super recent. There were there a lot of 2 disc games on PS1, less on PS2, none on PS3 and then none on PS4 until pretty late in the cycle.
There was a pretty big gap there, so it feels funny going back to it. Some of us haven't owned a 2 disc case in 15-20 years.

And it'll still take up the same space on your hard ssd as digital smh. It's nice for preservation or if you have shoddy Internet but it's a bummer storage space is such a rare resource

Do have any info on what fps the game runs at on the original PS4? Switched to PC gaming a couple of years ago and this is the only game I want that I can't get on PC lol.. may dust off the ol' PS4 if it at least runs at 60fps..
