I wish they still produced them, I never managed to pick them up and then they went out of print and go for a fortune now on eBay.

Beautiful, what paints did you use?
ID: gq3epe9Black primer, ledbelcher and warplock bronze bases, sycorax bronze layer, details picked out in balthazar gold, washed with agrax earthshade, drybrushed with necron compound and weathered with nikalah oxide. Bases were primed black, dark reaper base, thunderhawk blue layer drybrushed in etherium blue. Old honored imperium statues i did years ago so im buggered if i remenber.

I got 2 with the Basilicanum set just before they discontinued it before Christmas. It's a nice terrain set, very detailed but damn was it a nightmare to put together. It's a serious paint job as well, the attention to detail on those sculpts was impressive.

In this case I wouldn't put my poorly painted troops on this and simply enjoy looking at the terrain.

Every time I see official GW spears I get upset that there aren’t more power spears in 40k.
Spears with the ability to rip through nearly any substance would be so much more useful than powerswords.

ID: gq3s2nrYou should try painting terrain man. It’s just as if not more fun than minis or playing!
At the end of the day they’re just nerd toys we blew money on for board games with mostly shit rules to represent a narrative story with friends. Terrain is all about the aesthetic of the board game. If you’re more into serious tournaments and fly to events - painting tends to be a requirement as a soft score. It’s about the experience and painted terrain and models immerse the players!
ID: gq50rsmI was making a joke, im painting my terrain table to maky my games more immersive and to practice speed painting, i only spent a few hours on all these together. Once i have all my terrain done it will give me the ability to take great photos too, aswell as practicing techniques that im unsure of using on my armys

The bald Marine statues on either end were first in the 'Honoured Imperium' terrain set, I think, but that's a very old one that may not be in print anymore.
