ID: gq6ndw3I feel for ya, but can say that in this instance, you might take some consolation in the fact that you've got one up on the talls - you can get your jeans taken up (or use the cheaper short kings section). There's not much you can do when you've got a 38" inseam - here in Australia, it's either tailors or ASOS' tall range.
Having said all that, I've had shorter friends who refused to buy kids' clothes on principle (in spite of the fit and way better price) - I put it down to a lifetime of height-based bullying/discrimination that's somehow still pretty socially acceptable.

I’m only 5’3” and find a better fit from women’s pants. They make my butt look good and the legs aren’t way too long. Obviously you have to do some searching to find some that are kind of a more neutral appearance but it’s opened up my options significantly.

Im in the wierd place where im too big for kids clothes but too small for adult clothes, so i ether have to go into the kids section and find some XL, or go into the adult section and find XS

Never found a size that fit perfectly. Whenever I found some that fit length-wise, the waist would be too big. I always had to wear belts on my jeans because the waist was too big, and would fall down without one.
ID: gq6qsjtSame. I'm rather talk, but also skinny, and it seems like all clothes stores here are convinced that you can't be both tall and skinny at the same time. I have to choose between wearing pants that are too short and pants that are too wide.

In Ontario children's clothes are exempted from provincial tax, so, at least there's that as well.

As a short man, I have used the boys section for pants and jeans for years. There are usually a few pants that are the right length in the men’s section but the waist will be 40+ like they expect all short guys to be morbidly obese too
