I didn’t like the remake specifically because it was a rushed cash grab to leech of the success of the RE2 remake. They dumped a whole remake project on some small random dev group called M-2 INC who decided to remove so many things that made the original so iconic in the first place and rushed the development just to throw the game out to the public so they can barely meet their deadline to get it shipped.
If Capcom would’ve just taken as much time for the RE3 remake as they did for developing RE2 remake or even RE8, then I honestly feel like I wouldn’t be complaining about the lack of fan service the remake has.
I really hope this isn’t the last for RE3 from Capcom, and am hoping that Capcom can give RE3 the RE1 HD Remastered treatment.

Would be nice if they added additional single player content now that we have the new PS and Xbox. That being said, I really enjoyed the remake. The OG RE3 is still my favourite RE, but the remake was really good. Disappointed with the lack of mercenaries and only short segments with stage 1 Nemesis, but the story, voice acting, gameplay and graphics are superb.

RE3 remake is the only one I’ve played and I really enjoyed it. I suppose it helps that I have nothing to compare it to
ID: gp1nmuyIt can still be enjoyable, as I had some fun playing it still, but it’s just so disappointing compared to the original game.
That’s the thing too, most people who played this game haven’t played the original so they can’t really see why some people really dislike how Capcom handled this remake.

I wish they would make the original RE3 available on PC because it's very good. The remake was a let down.
ID: gp688tpEven if it’s just a simple port, I would be still be slightly less upset with Capcom for rushing RE3Remake.

To put it nicely, I find this remake to be highly enjoyable and an improvement over RE2 despite its short length. Re3 Remake was in development for approximately three years, so it couldn’t have possibly been rushed and released as a “cash grab.” Fans expectations were just way too high and the original game wasn’t very popular to begin with. People just need to be grateful that we got a remake at all...
ID: gpzx43bAgreed, I LOVED both 1-2 remakes, 2 being my favourite. Imagine if Konami remade Silent Hill 1&2 in the same style as these RE remakes. I’d piss my pants.

They pulled the bait and switch, deliberately misrepresenting their product and then when they received the proper outcome for ripping us off, they cry out: that's it then! We won't ever finish the game! Fine Capcom, just don't expect me to buy anything else from you--no matter who much you fanservice your next lame ripoff of the RE4 remake and call it RE8.

I loved it

Meanwhile a very promising MOD for OG is coming out just around the corner....

Gameplay felt more unpolished than the RE2 remake which was honestly shocking to me
