- The Nautilus deep space explorer. Please excuse the crappy pics. It’s still a work in progress.

I love the randomness of the pieces. Makes it look like it was built entirely from scavenged junk and scrap metal. I've tried making ships like that but to a lesser degree

Very creative, a lot of attention to detail. I like it a lot. Well done.

Looks awesome!
Protip: if you have a PC, download Bricklink Studio and you can build this in any color you want!

Thanks everybody for the likes. I’ve been lurking and liking in this group for a while. I’m amazed by all the creativity and work you all put into your creations.
Non lego folks just don’t know how much work and brain sweat goes into building your own designs. This thing almost got tossed back in the pile a couple of times. Kept falling apart. Glad I kept at it. I have a couple more to show off. But I’m gonna learn to take better pics first.

Omg I love this so much!!!
-
This is really cool. Great name for it as well.
-
Amazon, it's totally a nautilus and a deep space ship
-
I dig it bro! Relatively compact and ample internal space. I can imagine it color matched, but kinda makes more sense as is. A rag-tag crew with a ship that has seen a lot of adventure. Damaged panels replaced over time from other ships from scrap yards. This inspires me. I’m going to have to bookmark this for sure!
-
Super cool!
-
It looks awesome!
-
This makes me want Lego to get their hands on Spelljammer from Dungeons and Dragons.
ID: gq5rzjxThat was my inspiration ! I freakin loved Spelljammer. I may try a hammerhead ship next.
-
so cool, interiors too!and the droid is great!!
-
This is awesome. I love building hodgepodge ships
-
Nice ship
-
That's a thing of beauty.
Did you have to take apart the Falcon for that window?
ID: gq5defnNope. That was from a tie fighter. And thank you.
-
i would but this
-
I love the name 'Nautilus'!
Excellent job, GENIUS
-
Love it. The colours really make it
-
So creative!! Great job!
-
Man this is inspiring, I’m now planning to try and make a ship like yours because I don’t have enough pieces in order to make a ship in one color.
ID: gq5rs10Go for it! At first all the mismatched parts bothered me but after all the positive comments I’m beginning to like it.
-
“Fastes hunk of junk it the galaxy”
That’s looks really good with all the different colors
-
Fucking awesome man!! I love the shape and feel of this. Nice job man
-
The wild color scheme gives off such Hackers 1995 vibes mixed with 2000s sci fi, I love this
-
Wow, great work shaping this one out! I love how weird it looks
-
This reminds me of my old creations so much I'm tearing up. Wonderful piece!
-
I find the multicoloured mess on the outside to work in its favour, looks like a post apocalyptic spacecraft
-
Flip it 90 degrees, and it's Boba Fetts Slave 1
ID: gq74jgoI started thinking this looks familiar about half way through the build. Kinda like a Moncala rebuild of the Slave 1.
-
Dude, this is awesome. The mismatch of colours reminds me of a scavenger ship. Bloody love it.
-
Angry Lord Bussiness noises
-
It's fantastic. Really love the work you've done detailing the inside.
-
I love it so much!!
-
This is so cool!!!!
-
Loving the cephalopod inspired name and look
-
This is brilliant, reminds me of when I had creativity.
-

That’s what it felt like building it. I’ve got two big tubs of legos from a lifetime of collecting. When I pour them all out on the table that’s exactly what it looks like. Space Junkyard!
