The marketing and deal is clearly geared to console and explicitly says Xbox Game Pass. Don’t be a bitter PC player as outside of a week ago before this was even a thought, many had no problem paying full price.

Well I would have paid the full price anyway, seems like a good game to get together with friends for some expedition farming in the next years.
Gamepass is... good if you have the time, but in the last 3 months I was able to finish Halo 1 and play a little bit of Forza Horizon 4.

Why do they treat the PC game pass so bad? We're still waiting for EA Access or whatever it's called to be on the pc GP, it's been on the console one for months now
Prob costs them alot more.
For example, outriders on game pass for PC fks over steam (main PC market) and epic. So SE prob wants a shit ton more to put it in for PC whereas Xbox has no competitors to worry bout
There are millions of people paying for Ultimate on PC. So, just stop with the cost crap. It costs more on console because it's going for $70 on console while it's cheaper on PC still...
I've been very happy with the selection of games on PC Game pass, but I also feel that it's much less valuable with the amount of high quality third party games that is always going to the console version without a PC version.
I wish they would try harder at keeping both versions equal in terms of titles.
I'm still anxiously waiting on EA Play for PC, it's been on console for months now.
PC is just a more fickle market. You can’t call it treating them badly. As for the EA Access, who knows what deals were behind the scenes for that.
Check out the square enix Reddit. They posted a big bit about those that want to cancel a preorder on Xbox.

Gamepass is Gamepass. No matter the platform. The reality is PC GP users get an inferior product, yet pay the same price, that’s my issue.
I mean, there is a bright side though to it not being on PC Game Pass; The Microsoft Store sucks ass.
MS store could definitely be better but I don't have the pure hatred of it that many gamers seem to.
Granted, I haven't used it a ton, but I've played a handful of titles on it (Forza Horizon 3+4, at least two Gears of War games, Bloodstained, Sea of Thieves, Outer Worlds, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting) and never had any problems with it.
The one glaring exception was the debacle that was Phantasy Star Online 2, where any patch to the game could straight-up break the client and cause it to bury itself on my hard drive, forcing a format and reinstall for that drive. But I don't even blame that on MS Store so much as I blame Microsoft for forcing the MS store environment upon a hack-job of an 8-year-old online service game that was never originally designed with that store in mind.
It can easily be found for 30-35 euros for pc on shady key sites anyway, which i think is the fair price for this game if the demo was anything to go by
Don't support key resellers. Usually end up costing the devs money having to deal with key issues on their own dime.
When you try to sell 30 euros games at 60, you only get bought on a key site or on 50% sales, sorry.

It can be bought for $46 from a legit 3rd party seller like GreenManGaming as well. Best of both worlds. You save some money and still support the devs, without the risk of supporting criminals that comes with buying from key resellers.

Nobody is paying for GamePass specifically for this game. If they were then they were doing so on speculation, not official information. If you don't think GamePass is worth your money then don't subscribe.

It's unfortunate it's not coming to PC gamepass, inhad a few friends who were going to hop on board for it. PC controls are much better, I have an Xbox but I don't think I'll play it with a controller
I can be bitter, as I have no intention of picking up the game at full $60. I don't believe it is worth that much, that said, I still do plan to pick it up once it goes down in price on sale. So they will just have to wait longer to get money out of my pocket.

When ever a game has cover ups for anything at all, you know something is up.
History repeats its self over and over with games. We never learn and over and over and over we have fierce keyboard wars where those expressing doubts are attacked by the paladins of the blind order.
I have no idea how this game is going to be once its out but the red light are on and the alarms are on. Remember Steam has a refund option for any time over 2 hours. If you doubt at ALL during those hours get a refund and wait for more info.
Anthem, Cyberpunk, Fallout 76, Star wars BF2, Aliens CO, NmS and on and on and on. What did all these games have in commen? Sketchy PR, sketchy presentations and weird beta/demo pre-release that should have been enough to warn us. When a game sounds sketchy there is a reason to it. Be warned.
You are not entirely wrong but this is not really a red flag. Outriders is kind of indie game. Even the demo's purpose is mostly marketing. They are just trying to reach more people. Not everyone knows about Outriders and i think it's a very good game. How many post we saw this week saying ''i didn't heard this before and played the demo today. this is amazing''
Lmao if anything this is to dissuade red flags as now you can try it while subscribing to gamepass.
