I believe this processor is somewhat akin to a Ryzen 5 3600? I will be using an RTX 2060 Super in combination with the 4600G and would like to stream on Twitch at 1080p. I will have 16 (2x8) GB 3800mhz RAM.
Would you use NVENC or x264? I'm trying to figure out the best way to ensure good quality. Is this processor sufficient/decent?

It will be fine. Also note that unlike the Matisse/Vermeer CPUs, there is no 3800 MHz limit with the Renoir IMC, you can run 4400+ MHz RAM no problem.

Also Buildzoid did some heavy memory overclocks on his 4750G, but I think he didn't test iGPU gaming performance.

It's perfectly fine. Use NVENC.
ID: grxdre2You have any experience with it?

yes, Renoir is a solid desktop chip if you can find one for a decent price. the 4600G clocks higher than the 3600 but I haven't seen any direct performance comparisons with a dedicated GPU.

Why would you bother with a 4600g if you have a 2060S? At some pt you're going to learn that content alone, devoid of alerts + cams, won't be very engaging. Then instead of going with a dedicated streaming box to take load off your gaming pc, you'll end up overbuilding but undershooting capability and reliability.
I guess if you're just starting out so.ply adhering to a schedule for a couple months will be hard enough.
ID: gryusswBc I want 240hz to the highest potential and because it's an prebuild.
ID: grzns98You have to be playing games like RS6 siege at low graphics quality settings to even contemplate that.
Games like that 1 driving game that cranks 300fps+ on a 4c/4t potato.
Be realistic.

that's cool and unexpected. how's the vega 7 with such memory speed? haven't seen any game benchmark with that kind of speed
