Respawn have pushed a client patch for Apex Legends today.
Patch Notes Improvements Console players can now toggle the survival slot off. If turned off, survival items will only be accessible through the inventory screen and the button will trigger the weapon inspect feature by default. (Source) Bug fixes Fixed Electric Blue Wattson skin (Source)As usual, please post bugs/issues you encountered with this patch so Respawn and other players are aware.

More updates!
Heat shields in the regular loot pool, both in pubs and in ranked, though there's no more fast heal when inside one. Also some tweaks to Kings Canyon so you're less likely to get stuck.

On PC, has anyone's performance significantly dropped since the ring flare update. I am experiencing constant frame drops.
ID: grufzfqID: gruh2zzKinda similar, I have to hide until the frames stabilise because it's not possible to take fights with that much lag.
I think they have messed up somehow with the new ring shields or whatever they're called. I have noticed it always happens when I am near multiple ring shields. It must be loading in the background even when you aren't near them because pubs are a laggy mess for me but ranked is atleast playable where the ring shields were disabled.
Still though, my avg frame rate has gone down since that godforsaken Maggie update.

9/10 games in duos are involuntary no-fill rn. It's really bad.

An unlisted update: The Chaos Theory Gambler event badge was adjusted to a new requirement. "Ring damage blocked with heat shields" moved from 5000 to 1000.

Just a heads up. Although not mentioned, the r-301 skin "an anger righteous" has it's lighting issues fixed on consoles.

Yes the game is in one of its worst states, performanance-wise. Yes this patch does not help the issue at all. Yes im still gonna try to play, but either i cant log in, or ill get matchmade with myself in duos

That's cool and all but can I get a patch for being able to leave a dang game already. Way too long for this to still be happening. I shouldn't have to spam leave 18 times before I can get back to the lobby if my team is long dead.

Fix Loba, its worst each day. Now she literally teleports mid-way or teleports back.
ID: gruikk2Yeah, I had this a few times now. I "teleport" with animation, effects and all, but still stand on the same place where I was when I pressed the button to teleport. It's tiresome now, Loba must become number 1 priority of the team(s) that work on the characters.
ID: gruh9dlI don't play much with her, just not my playstyle at all, but I definitely know what Loba players frustrations are. I played with her twice for a daily challenge and holy cow is that ever trash from what it was originally, got knocked twice in one game because it decided a very legal landing zone was a no go, right in the middle of an escape.
