I put a lot of hours into Enter the Gungeon on PC. It's an amazing game that everyone should play

ID: gs9qomnIve been watching a lot of it on twitch lately and game looks fun (and frustrating) as fuck. I just bought it on steam like a week ago so i put in a refund request and got it for free now on ps5.
ID: gsagidaIt took me over a hundred hours to get to the “last” dungeon. There’s still 3 more hidden dungeons I haven’t unlocked and 2 more playable characters I haven’t unlocked. Tbh best value I’ve ever gotten out of a $15 game.
ID: gsamxpsIt's the only game I tried from the freebies and it's amazing, I personally didn't like this type of "Git Gud" games but Enter the Gungeon makes you wanna Git Gud, if that makes sense anyway.

ID: gs9y8bwSubnautica is a masterpiece. I've never been a huge fan of survival games, as I get bored quickly (or simply don't have the time to spend hours just gathering wood).
Subnautic does this, adds a fantastic atmosphere, great graphics (I really enjoyed them on PS4) and a pretty good story you learn little by little.
Really one of my fav these recent years.
ID: gsabncyThe tech tree/ progression is the best I've ever played in a game of this sort. These aren't your basic gear upgrades where you can chop wood faster - the game changes and expands dramatically based on what you build. And if you're going in unspoiled (highly recommended), you'll be floored by some of the things you make, and some of the places you go.

ID: gs9uebrTo be honest I think I will too. I have it downloaded already, and there's a "hack" to force 60fps underwater, but you have to do it every time you load the game. Think I'd rather wait. Got plenty more things to play first.

On my Ps5, it just says "Download" not "add to libary" does that mean they'll always be free or not?

REZ might be a 20 year old game (ugh /
) but it still holds up and the fact that sony is giving it out for free to literally everyone who owns a ps4 and ps5 is nuts lol. I remember in the ps2 era, this game was trading hands for $100 or so. Hard to find cult favorite.ID: gs9a9imHoly shit it’s a 20 yr old game ?
ID: gs9ke6tEssentially yes, Rez Infinite is a remaster with some extra content and VR support.
ID: gsa2arfYeah it was way way way ahead of its time. It was one of the last games to come out on the dreamcast. Main criticisms were framerate slowdown during busy scenes and game too short to justify paying full retail price. Of course, since you're getting it for free and running it on a ps4 or ps5, neither of these criticisms really apply 🙂 have fun!!!!
Edit. Also yeah its crazy how the game is 20 years old and modern gaming has only been around for about 40 years. Playing this game on the ps4/ps5 in 2021 is like playing Duck Hunt or Super Mario Brothers 1 on the Gamecube in 2001 and saying "wow I can't believe this game is 20 years old"

I added the games to my library with the PS app. Very smooth experience. However, the blog post says “download by April”. Do I have to actually have them downloaded by then? Or is it enough to have them added to library?

so when Horizon Zero Dawn finally comes free. Is it possible to claim it when I already have the disc version? Ideally I just want to be able to play it without loading the disc in the future? and I want to keep my saves.

I don't understand why the PS5 makes you start downloading them to add them to your library instead of just adding them like all other free and PS+ games. I started downloading them all and just cancelled them.

ID: gs9pvreSame, was getting errors on the website on my pc but the mobile app i was able to claim them fine.

Yooo, you people better get ready. This is such a good list of games. I'm so excited for people to play Subnautica and Thumper for the first time I could cry.
Honestly though, every one of these games deserves your attention.
