ID: gt1b1x3Yeah, first time I see weird squares on the screen, second try the server is lagged, third try there are giant flares on the screen, fourth try, it takes 3min to load and then you get put alone so you die miserably in a 1v3 and then when you finally manage to get a full squad it turns out they're kids who believe they're pros and go 1v3 so you then somehow manage and kill the enemies just for your teammates to leave anyways.

ID: gt0fo6hNo joke a couple months ago i had an infinite loading screen issue. The game just wouldnt load, you could wait for days lol they eventually fixed it like a month or so after. Lucky for you that wasnt the case
ID: gt1bvh5I got this a couple times. No joke, I fixed it by unplugging my ps4 controller from the PC. A friend of mine has the same issue if he has his phone charging off his PC. Such a weird issue.

Just a tip - I was facing the same issue but after uninstalling the game and deleting all apex files and reinstalling helped me

ID: gt1du43Sorry to tel you but this is an issue with respawns login servers not being able to handle the traffic, nothing to do with the actual installation of the game.
If you had just waited instead of reinstalling the game it would have had the exact same end result.
ID: gt0gl24Hmm I see, didn't check the server status during that time tho as I wasn't too bothered about it and I was just guessing it was probably EA server stuff that pooped itself for the moment! Haven't checked the status now either nor tried starting the game but will do later!
Edit: Tried starting the game cause I got curious and no problems! Was just temporary server things as I guessed most likely!

Okay I made a reddit post a while back about this, but you can fix the loading screen by unplugging a single usb during the loading sequence. After the game loads you can just plug it in again

Are you using Steam by chance? I prefer it but had to switch back to Origin because of this, never had an issue since.
ID: gt0r3ddI switched from Origin to steam on the mid S7 patch. The same patch that broke steam for the first time.
Because origin broke the update and I had to fully reinstall the game, decided it'd be easier to just do it on steam. Big sigh.

Appreciate the thought of people who gives advice about how to solve the loading issue! But at this time it seems to have only been a temporary server problem for my part as I can get into the game again! 🙂
Edit: Also wasn't too bothered about it so I just memed it :p Otherwise I would have tried to look it up! just mentioning it extra especially for those few who assume things and gets upset about the post 🙂

i also have this issue before and i almost gave up on the game until i changed my DNS settings and now its fixed

I couldn’t even play yestermorning. Spent 7 minutes on the black load screen. Finally made it to the main menu. Clicked continue and took me straight back to that load screen for another 5 mins. Restarted my Xbox and apex and still couldn’t make it past the main menu. They broke something and need to fix it.

I've just had weird as fuck "sluggishness" in Apex for few days. It's like one of those "swimming under water" things, where my mouse acts like it's on some really low acceleration, when it's actually not. And crouch jumps get fucked, because there's tiny bit of fps/server lag. Don't even know which.
Then again, it's made me go all Wingman, since my spray control has gone to hell with the sluggishness, but one shot flicking into enemies still works somewhat. I do love my Wingman training though. Nothing more satisfying than breaking armo

Guys, I found a fix. Log in to Origin and change your status from invisible to visible. It logged me in immediately.

I got fed up with it and changed from steam to origin. Once the steam issue gets fixed i may switch back over to it seeing as their sales are different.

Truuu, but in a normal every day scenario I usually only have to restart 2 times at absolute most and actually get into the game as a result :p
