- Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 will not use Denuvo
-
Yeah, maybe it doesn't financially or otherwise make sense to put it on a title such as this, a literal 2D puzzle game where the biggest file would be the game's executable. It boggled my mind why they would put it on the first one, and it boggles my mind why they put it on the second one as well. The game is going to sell for $30
-
Because it costs more than the two people who would bother to pirate a puyo/tetris game
-
Nice!
Hope they remove Denuvo from PPT1 too. -
Any game that still has denuvo in 2021 makes me less likely to buy it.

Is Denuvo still a thing? People don't seem to be talking about it anymore, and the few games utilizing it seem to be cracked just as quickly as the others.
ID: gq0mmo9Yes, and at the moment there's pretty much only 1 active cracker in the world working on denuvo and that person is mentally unstable.
Denuvo has basically won at this point
ID: gq1st74Huh? Valhalla is still uncracked after four months, and there have been many other high profile games where this happened.

If you have to put DRM to a title like this, then you're 100% aware that the game is trash and nobody would pay money for it.
ID: gq2jq1zI get that you're angry with DRM and whatever, but this isn't really the case.

tfw PPT2 and PPC are about to be the 2 best puyo puyo entries on PC that aren't the PPSun localization and PP2 in an emulator
-
... is that a joke or something... or was even one person in this entire universe afraid of "puyo puyo tetris" being denuvo protected?
ID: gq2zfrime
ID: gq2te2sDude, what you downplay as being "afraid of" something is standing up for a good cause. Me and the whole #fckdrm gang. Surely you know the facts about tacked on anti-piracy downsides but choose to ignore them. smh
Well, this is good news. I can remove PPT1 from wishlist and put the sequel in there instead.
-
they remove Denuvo and good regional price for Russia region, i guess SEGA not interested in biggest market of South Europe
ID: gq0con7To be fair, Russia has the second largest amount of video game piracy than any other country with studies showing 91% of Russians would pirate rather than pay so I guess SEGA doesn't care enough to deal with it.
ID: gq0voxfdamn i bet they're regretting real hard that they lost all those 10 copies they would have sold in russia

Good for me arrr!

Why just that year?
