- New Gaming problem
-
Nope, there's tons of games I played for 5 minutes and realized they weren't fun. If your game requires over an hour or more to become fun, you fucked up. Also, games where the game makes you start grinding right from the beginning. I say fuck that. Grind is nothing but trying to stretch out less content over more playtime.
-
This is so true
-
This is true and sad. I'm gonna spend my life playing games
-
I’m just over 30. I have 3 kids. I have a gaming pc and a few consoles. But all I do is play Minecraft. What is happening? I have so many other good games...
-
I have plenty of games, and time to play them but I just don't feel happy playing them because I've beaten most of them about five times over.
-
The hardest part about being an adult gamer is trying to decide which game is worth investing what little time you have available for gaming. Do I try something new? Or do I stick with something I know I like?
-
I can't spew slurs in every video game, I just don't have the time.
-
My problem is that even when I do have time to play, I am guilty about playing. I've never been able to shake it.
-
Still mustering enough will to play it
-
And here I am playing through BloodBorne for like the 5th time
-
And there is me with only Minecraft, no time and ni friends to play with
-
The problem of trying to play singleplayer games for me is the current grind in modern multiplayer games where i feel like i have to grind all the time and cant enjoy a story game
-
When you realise that you're playing roblox and millions of games are out there
-
Games these days are too goddamn long.
I remember when I was a teenager I used to look for games with the highest playtime, now I'm an adult the less playtime the better.
Honestly, some of the best gaming experiences I have had lately is when Call of Duty is one of the free monthly games on the PS4. 5-6 hour campaign, play it over a weekend, wonderful.
-
Adulting sucks! Lol. I wish I have the time too
-
Ditto.
-
Maybe if you spent less time drawing your fake girlfriend
-
Fake preteen looking girlfriend.
-
Go back to drawing your borderline pedophilic hentai art. This site is finally slowly turning on you.
-
So.. What are you doing now? Watching YouTube
-
i don't get it
-
Three steps 1. Turn on ps5 2. Look at the games 3. Turn it off
-
People always have free time... even if it's just once a weekend.
-
My Girlfriend used to make this comment when I said I felt like I had nothing I wanted to play
Until I pointed at her massive bookshelf.
-
my problem is OK lets play this game I get into the game and I decide I do not want to play it so I have to choose carefully
-
I no longer have the time, will, or reflexes of a 12-year-old.
Frankly, just opening up the list of games induces paralysis. And the only games that I've beaten were so short that the ending snuck up on me.
-
more accurate if he was scrolling through his phone with Netflix in the background before the last panel
-
Honestly for me it’s an energy thing
Games often take a lot of energy and attention. I’m not 15 anymore where all I had to do was BS through school and play games. Whenever I have energy now it tends to go into something else.
I miss the sense of escapism.
-
I felt this deep. I get home fro work and look at my shelf. See a game I wanna play. 2 hour update.
-
Abundance of choice and limited time is infinitely worse than abundance of time and limited choice.
-
But not enough ps5s
-
I also regret buying over half my games sooooo
-
Or the energy to get invested in the storyline knowing I'm gonna have to restart it every time I get the chance to play cause I can't remember what I was doing..
-
It’s not a problem of time it’s a problem of FUCKING MONEY!
-
I can't find anything to like as much as Ghost Recon Wildlands. The open world is amazing, plus the action is somewhere between stealthy Rainbox Six games and COD balls-out action. If there's anything this cool in another game, I need to know...
-
For me there really is nothing I want to play. I’ve exhausted about 450 games.
Currently waiting for ME Legendary, the Subnautica sequel, and Call Of The Tempestarii which will inevitably be delayed again.
-
The gamers paradox
-
It’s either that, or you get bored easily
-
I got games. I got time. But I sold my GPU planning to upgrade to a 30xx... Five months ago!
-
Wait till you hit the anhedonia stage. You have all the time and energy but you can't concentrate because of the constant anxiety.
-
But when you do have enough time, THEN there is nothing to play
-
Don't be like me who is on some sorta dark web steam list where they try and hack my account every day.
-
Your email or account info may have been exposed in a data leak somewhere.
-
it was. Doesn't change the 'here is the code you requested from an IP from a person half way across the world' that I get nearly everyday. Steam doesn't let you change your email (which I guess is good at least) but it would at least make it stop for a while.
-
Sometimes I don't want to play games because I know it will suck me in or because the game is too popular and will never live up to the hype
-
This. I got many games I would like to complete. Valheim, subnautica, last of us part 2 and I would also like to play csgo.
-
I’ve got too many games to play, and neither enough time or desire to play them anymore. It’s either a phase or playing games is no longer for me.
-
That's the problem of gamers who got a busy life, both professionally and personally. It's even worse when one game is of the grindy kind...
-
Time huh? Thanks for the tip.

Stop I am triggered
