They toned it down for the full release and even moreso going forward. You can still make some good holes in bf1 though

Not much really to go by from those two screenshots. I'm still excited and hope the game turns out good. I miss battlefield and want a change from sweaty COD.

EDIT 2: Uh. Shit. They deleted the comment. I tried Removeddit but i didn't get anything, so there isn't a whole lot now. I remember that there was supposed to be an iteration on the "levolution", with dynamic weather like hurricanes and tornadoes. I was wrong about "most guns", turns out all the guns in BF6 IRL are currently prototypes or in development. It's supposed to be a soft reboot, titled "BATTLEFIELD", and a sequel to BF4. It's more grounded in reality and has drones that assist you.

ID: gwoto44Tbf, it was more of a meme and strange stigma that got attached to the game, rather than an actual tint in the game. It's just that the UI and non-harsh warm colors led people to feel that everything was blue.

ID: gwo7linThis. I really miss Battlefield 2 gameplay style more. Was kind of hoping for an '80s or '90s setting, but instead it looks like we're getting Battlefield 4.5 with more near future/prototype crap. For those asking why does it matter? Well because having higher tech gadgets in game doesn't necessarily translate into more fun gameplay.
Quick example here... newer troop transport vehicles like late-gen HMMWVs and MRAPs are outfitted with something called a CROWS system. Basically it lets the gunner remotely control the roof-mounted machinegun from the safety of the armored cabin.
Translation: you can't snipe gunners out of vehicles anymore. You're stuck using explosives like AT mines or rocket launchers to take out the whole vehicle.
It took a previously fun and skillful gameplay tactic (sniping gunners out) and dumbed it down into one-dimensional rocks/papers/scissors encounters. Now you either just have explosives to take a whole troop transport vehicle down, or you don't and you're SOL.
BF4 also added a whole array of high-tech weapons and vehicle upgrades like Active Radar Missiles, Active Protection, etc. which made combat feel super annoying and unsatisfying. Based on the leaked description it sounds like they're going to expand on that type of shit rather than return to the more traditional gameplay style.
ID: gwpgqzjWhen I played BFV I never even used the turrets on vehicles because of how easy it is to get sniped out. Need it to be like BF 4 where u can safely sit inside and shoot people

It would be really nice if the reveal happens on the same day as bf5 goes into psn+, if the trailer is good then it would boost bf5 player base because of the hype especially with it being on ps+ in May.

ID: gwoogb9I think they're testing the waters for a future warfare setting with this. I've been wanting 2143 for so many years but I guess I kinda understand that it doesn't appeal to the widest market of buyers as much as modern warfare does.

Aren't these likely to be fakes due to the low texture resolution on these assets? If a trailer is imminent the quality would surely not be this bad.
