Hey guys, which is the most stable driver for rx580?
-
Had no problems with any of the drivers from the last year or two tbfh. All been rock solid for me. Way too many people with unstable systems or PSU's, etc, blame the driver for a lot of things.
-
21.4.1 is most stable and fixes many problems
ID: gx0akurID: gx0fbdothat's a you problem
ID: gx2ldx5No crashes here, not related to drivers at least. It sometimes crashes on a new boss fight from the most recent DLC.
ID: gx38ybiHave you filed a bug report? It's the little button that looks like a little bug within the driver next to the minimize, maximize and close window buttons.
The only way to get it fixed is to let them know it's broken.

ID: gx0pizaEverything stock?
-
21.4.1, don't listen to those who say older drivers, since a. Most likely didn't tried the new one B. Has some user error and blame it on driver
ID: gx13tndyep, older drivers gave me problems on blender, 21.4.1 is just perfect
-
I have been using 21.4.1 for my RX 580 8 GB without any hiccup.
-
21.4.1 work without a glitch
ID: gx13r6iyep
-
21.2.3
-
All of them, but i guess latest is the best one.
-
I've got an RX 480, but its basically an identical card. The latest ones are working fine for me.
-
20.11.2 most likely.
From what i saw, this might actually be an issue with the recent Windows updates, since previously stable driver versions were acting up as well.
ID: gx0o1avThe April security update is know to cause several problems with 3D applications.
Path of Exile has terrible texture streaming problems with this patch installed, after I removed it the issue was gone. What bothers me most is that this problem was known and fixed in the March patch and resurfaced in the April one..
-
i use 20.12.1, never crash, i tried all the new ones, always timeout problem
ID: gx1dl1xSame, until I purged then reinstalled using the minimal profile. Only had one timeout and it didn't result in a BSOD. Entire system is stock afaik.
-
probably the enterprise drivers
-
I use 19.12.1 with my rx580. After that i experience issue that background apps may freeze (e.g. discord won't notice your PTT key)
ID: gx0o643This sounds like hardware accelleration problems. Did you try 20.11.2? Runs stalbe on my 580 and hardware accelleration works fine.
-
Any recent driver is stable. If you are having problems, undo any and all overclocks including resetting the BIOS, factory reset the driver using the AMD installer, and, failing that, do a USB re-install of Windows. If all that fails, you have a hardware problem.
-
20.11.2 is the best if you ask me. Most stable one and no glitches ingame with good performence in the background:
I play also some older games and there i had visual glitches on some other versions.
-
RX 580 has been out forever. Just use the latest recommended. That's what I use and haven't had an issue in over two years of use.
-
The most current one, 21.4.1. It seems to be very stable for my 580. (that's with no overclocks or anything enabled).
-
Whichever driver you use there will be a problem and that's regardless of whether it's AMD of Nvidia there's always issues and always fixes in the next driver's none are perfect but some are very stable
Currently I'm using the latest driver for my RX580 and I have found it keeps crashing and I get game hangs it's not so great
ID: gx1j67aim using a rx590 8gb nitro and i find on the newest 2 updates im droping or hanging pretty bad especialy on my second screen when im running a game and watching youtube or twitch its starting to get reall annoying real fast
ID: gx1jtdmThe same things is happening to mine I have reported it all and it's bloody annoying so bad I'm thinking switch back to Nvidia
But I'm sure the next driver will be better
-
I had issues with drivers, but it turned out to be an unstable XMP profile. No problems since I fixed that problem on the latest Recommended drivers.
-
Guys i need help please since the last update my pc just crash and restart every time in games And i dont know what could be My psu is a thermaltake smart 700w 80 plus white And now i try to install older drivers and the same problem please help
-
stable for what? a gaming machine? go with the latest ones.A production machine and/or workstation machine? go with the Pro drivers 2021.Q1.1.
-
I had to downgrade my driver at one point because it wouldn’t work with oculus link and for some reason an older driver didn’t have the bug. Since then I haven’t updated my driver for my rx580
-
2.1.41
-
I've been using 21.2.2 without any glaring problems. I don't mean to say that this is the most stable driver, but I just wanted to say it's been working fine for me. I read about potential issues with the March drivers, so I avoided those. It seems that 21.4.1 should be stable, but I don't have any reason to update.

I highly doubt this. The binding of isaac crashes on this version.
