This guy was my favourite NPC. I felt bad for him.

Later when your moving through the dungeon you find her at the end strung up in shackles begging for help, and as you try to free he a sickle burst through her chest, dragging its way down cueing up the chase right before the kitchen

Fun fact, the voice actor for the Duke did audition for this old man and got rejected but Capcom liked the VA enough and decided to cast him as the Duke instead.

ID: gy2vof3Honestly, the second that he saw something had burst through the house there he should have returned to the truck and looted that dead soldiers gear. Even if his gun had mysteriously vanished, he still had tactical gear across his entire body. Ethan might still have his fingers if he'd worn it, even if it doesn't fit perfectly.
