Edit - I should have been more clear in my wording. It is for sure an OG Xbox game that wasn't released for the 360 but it is backwards compatible so I will be playing it on my 360. I'm also pretty sure it has upscaling but not prepared to bet on it

ID: gz3z588I gotta be a minority here and say...I preferred the first Underground. It was such a new concept at the time and genuinely controller-smashingly difficult. Also, I think the open world side of 2 was...pretty pointless. At least in MW it had a purpose.

When playing multi-player, Being able to kit your car with full hydrolics and park under and over pass with with front bumper touching the railing. Get it moving back and forth enough and it would catapult you out of the race and you could free roam the whole map with buddies. Still one of the coolest exploits I've ever seen.
ID: gz413yjIn NFSMW there was a certain track you could go backwards on and one of the underground parking lots had an entrance that was within the track limits but the exit was outside so we'd just go through there and free roam together
ID: gz42zsuIf I recall correctly the game basicly autocheated in multiplayer. Whoever had the fastest clocked CPU would drive faster for some odd programming reason. My friends could never keep up with me and my new 1300MHz AMD Athlon haha. good times

underground 2 best nfs game ever, change my mind.
ID: gz3kbi3The drift challenges were super fun in that. I liked the first one but the second really upped the quality. Then came Most Wanted and meh.

ID: gz3o7y9U1 and U2 were the odd ones out, as all other NFS games had cops. The small feature I liked most in U2 was that the opponent's visual tuning was adjusted to your own car. If you did not change the exterior, your opponents would not go full bozo spec either.
ID: gz40ur5Hot Pursuit 2 holds a special place in my heart. Me and my friends loved playing as the cops trying to stop each other. Underground was fantastic too tho.

Underground 3 was released. It just wasn't called Underground 3. It was just simply called "Need For Speed" and was released in 2015. It's basically Underground 3 though.
It's frequently called the spiritual successor.
