I'm just glad Senran is still around. After Sony cracking down on their 7th title, they really seemed like they were about to call it quits on new titles.

It's actually hilarious how good of a musou style game (or in Peach Beach's case, 3rd person shooter) they are despite the primary selling point and story is fan service.
The only game I would probably say isn't really a "good game" is Senran Kagura Reflections, cause all that game is is the dress up mini game the games have with a tacked on story. So it's not really all that great unless you really like the dress up minigame.

There's 10-ish different types of water guns that each handle differently, some variety in the types of levels, and you can change the characters alot equitable power cards. The gameplay is really fast paced too and has an auto-aim lock on mechanic, where the main focus is on dodging and flying to avoid enemy fire.
I dunno if I'd pay full-price, but I'm pretty happy with what I paid during a steam sale. I played some of the other 3d brawler games, but the water gun one was my favorite.
ID: gq4f85qIt’s alright, pretty entertaining silly story but gameplay is kind of repetitive despite all the different weapons and ability cards. It’s a little on the short side too if you don’t bother doing the bonus challenge missions and stuff. It’s still worth at least 50% off steam sale if you’re a fan of the series or like anime tiddy games in general.

ID: gq5qk17It was fun enough. It looks pretty bad though. Splatoon's liquid effects on such limited hardware looked way better than any of the liquid effects in Peach Beach Splash.

I miss the days when the nep verse actually still made main storyline games. I don't think I'd rate any of the same games better then "all right". Some were down right bad.

It is laughable how this looks visually like the best entry and it isn't even a main line game. The ps5 one was the definition of a polished turd, ps3 graphics and random puddles of water for ray tracing. I really hope they keep this look.

Creator left though citing creative differences with the publisher. We will have to see what those differences were.
