You can change the backlight if you hold select + L and it makes it brighter or dimmer. It’s awesome!

You can change the brightness on this one by holding select and tapping the L button. There’s 5 different settings. This is the brightest

It’s a complete rebalancing and redo of the entire game. From monsters to weapons to espers and characters.

I’ve played ffvi dozens of times and I honestly believe that it is the superior and TRUE ffvi experience.
