If people didn't preorder where do people expect the day one reviews that they use to decide whether to buy it or not. Like someone has to buy it first to get reviews, a major part of a lot of these posts is wait for reviews. Most of those reviews come from the people that preordered the game.

Most of those reviews come from content creators or journalists given copies early specifically to get reviews on the market.

I hate the whole preorder and deluxe ultimate Deluxe super fantastic edition dlc thing. And then they put in game buys on top. It's not clear which game you get in the most cases. Most games are build for gaining constant money from buyers. Miss the old days where you get the full thing for 60 bucks.

I miss being a child in the 90s and getting games that didn't require DLC. Sure, some games were buggy but that's why I'd read magazines and agonise over my choices. I'd get a game for my birthday and Christmas.

I'd buy a whole new game, rather than get drip fed content that I have to pay for or grind an unreasonable amount in order to obtain it, for year's on end. A sequel compelles them to at least put all old content from the previous game, plus new content into the sequel.

dumb casuals are so salty and not because its a repost.
They are weak gluttons. they praise and follow 'deadly sins'. They dont care if it comes and bites them/the community (you can include the world/politics). they never cared about the thing while also having fragile egos (cause they are dumb) and always try to defend themselves even though they 'dont care'.
Most of these ppl are newbies to the world as well, sad that they think that what they do has no effect. Most of these ppl probably defended mtx lootboxes and bad games as well.
