- Lost Judgment | PS5 State of Play Gameplay Trailer
-
I just picked up judgment a couple days ago having a blast can't wait for lost judgment
ID: h4j3exuID: h4jh1o4Buy YAKUZA 0
ID: h4j4rrfExactly my situation lol I picked it up because I heard about lost judgment also have never played a Yakuza game but always wanted too
ID: h4m4otrSimilar story for me, except I am already enjoying Like A Dragon after ignoring the series until now. I had never heard of Judgment, but I bought it after seeing this sequel announcement.

I’m getting this 100%.
ID: h4itnbzMan, this and Death Stranding DC out the same day? My wallet's gonna be hurting.
Edit: DSDC upgrade pricing just got announced as $10 so I guess it won't hurt so much after all!
ID: h4j4ggyI give wallet massages, just throwing it out there. I get my fingers in there really deep. Deep, uh, deep tissue wallet massages. $10.
ID: h4k9foy$10 for the upgrade and bonus content? Yet ghost of Tsushima is charging $30
ID: h4jfiqiyou don’t even have to spend $10 for the ps5 directors standard edition
-
The shiba dog walking mission convinced me this will be a game I’m picking up.
ID: h4m998gThat's how I felt when I saw the trailer for stray. I was like "I get to play as a cat?! TAKE MY MONEY NOW PLEASE"
-
Judgment was my favorite Yakuza game and was my game of the year for 2019. Story was perfection. Needless to say I'm super pumped.
-
God fucking DAMN I’m ready for this.
-
Is this a new yakuza?
ID: h4iq6wlsequel to Judgment, which was a Yakuza spin off (same world, different characters)
ID: h4ivmb5Looks like what shen-mue 3 shouldve been
ID: h4iq8zuYes and No. While Judgement is set in the same universe as Yakuza, it is entirely its own series.
ID: h4iujhsIf you're a fan of the beat-em-up combat, Judgement will be the series for you. I believe Yakuza 7 onwards will be Turn Based combat
ID: h4iupu1I'm enjoying Like a dragon a lot right now
ID: h4iq5h9Spin off
ID: h4j6lpsIt's the sequel to the original Judgement which is on PS4 and PS5. It's a Yakuza spinoff, but its story stands alone and you don't need to have played the others to get into it (besides some meme characters from 6 for the first game).
It's like a combo of Yakuza and Ace Attorney, but naturally its heavier on the elements of the former.

You can still choose Japanese voice acting right? The English sounds pretty rough
ID: h4iqexeYes!
ID: h4jj4ruThe English VA of Yakuza 7 was great so I have hight hopes that the trailer was just off.
ID: h4jojdfVA for the first game was really good so it should be even better now
ID: h4lc9r7I just played Yakuza 7 and the English VA did not seem bad at all for the brief time I had it turned on but HOLY MOLY was it jarring.
I am used to the Japanese voices from 0-6 so I started off that way and switched to English just out of curiosity... it was so weird.
-
The new ace attorney looks dope
-
Playing through judgement on the PS4 Pro and it's great so far. If you like the yakuza games and enjoy detective investigation sort of thing, definitely check it out.
-
Everything about this game is great except the weird cover lol
ID: h4k3dcbStill such a shame there isn't nice Steelbook releases like Yakuza
-
Judgement has one of the best storylines in video games. Aside from the story, thr side activities you can do are fantastic. You can easily put over 50 hours in this game. Hopefully in this new game we will have a phone where we can play sega games on it(like a google play where we can download crazy taxi or sonic, after we achieve some points or money). If they could put those games on our phones they could put them on a virtual phone also. I heard this game will even have a sega genesis preloaded with games, so it will make it even better. Other companies, especially ubisoft should learn from sega how to do fun side content/activities

The OST still slaps and the heat moves are sexy. Praise be
-
Can some explain what this game is to me? I’ve never played any in the series. It looks like it has DDR, skateboarding, fighting, racing… Looks absolutely wild, but I need some background info lmao
ID: h4jedbuIt's this plus fighting drunks in the street and looking for serial killers.
ID: h4jwpi7An action game that includes a lot of mini games and diverse side mission (from serious, to comedic to weird) and a great and serious main mission. You will be fighting mostly, investigating, sometimes investing, gambling and leveling up your character allowing new martial arts moves.

I just platinumed the original a few days ago, clocked in 97 hours and still ready for more, except maybe the Mahjong. It's fantastic and my 2nd "Yakuza" game after Like a Dragon, the combat took a bit to get used to but now I'm excited to try out Yakuza 0 and the others.
The mini games alone are extremely well done. The VR dice/board game, the drone racing, the house of the dead clone (kamuro of the dead). So great, I actually spent more time playing mini games than finishing the actual game twice.
ID: h4m6ossCongrats, even if I did for previous Yakuza games, I tried really hard to get platinum in this and abandoned after realizing the last drone race tournament is pretty much impossible even with the DLC "cheat" drone (you have a window of milliseconds in races lasting multiple minutes), and Mahjong would take days of hoping for good random.
I mean I went out of my way to do it, I completed the story twice (for legend mode), all subquests, killed Amon, and still didn't have enough xp points to buy every skills and really far from enough money to buy all drone parts. And you can't play the dice game to get rich without the free ticket, which requires you to complete the drone tournament leading to a dead end. Even the combat challenges have some left that would require grinding for hours.

English dub sounds like Archer. LANA!
-
Looks like Sony and Sega are buddy buddy now
ID: h4isbekThey always have been
ID: h4j6up7SEGA has always been pretty even with all the consoles (since they stopped making consoles). OG XBOX had a lot of great SEGA games, Nintendo has had some family friendly exclusives, Sony has had the weeb stuff.
ID: h4isoshKinda but I didnt mean it in a bad way tho
-
The graphics and faces look so amazing but the lipsynching is so bad
-
Day fucking 1. Just wish we can change his boy band outfit.
-
For a second I thought he was drop kicking the fucking dog lmao
-
Is this still set in Kamurocho? I’m getting really tired of the same setting for each game.
ID: h4j6ofpBit in Kamurocho I think, but it's primarily Ijincho (Yokohama) from Yakuza 7.
-
Will I have needed to played the first one to play this?
ID: h4iugooThere are multiple characters making a come back. It is a direct sequel. Having said that, you would still be able to enjoy this game without playing the first.

Same. Had never played any yakuza games, and had not even heard of judgement until seeing the announcement for lost judgement. Decided to give it a try and enjoying it a ton so far.
