Where's ds3?
ID: h704ha8ID: h704p75And Bloodborne
-
Words can’t describe how much you’re missing out on Bloodborne if you don’t have a PS4/5
ID: h708kdiYeah, getting a ps5 is definitely something I plan on getting I just don’t know how far In the future that will be, I’ve heard that bloodborne is one of/ if not the best of these games
ID: h708uu0It’s arguably the best game ever made, not just in the souls series. An absolute must play
-
You’re in for a hell of a time!
ID: h704qx7Yep, looking forward to it yet dreading it at the same time
-
I gave up on sekiro too hard, I've come to the conclusion I don't play games to be punished.
ID: h706l01I enjoy the challenge tbh, it makes it much more rewarding when you actually overcome the challenge.
ID: h707blcTrue, but I have less time to game/can't be bothered to redo a massive segment due to a little mistake. This is why I loved jedi fallen order, was challenging if I wanted it to be, but if I couldn't be arsed or got stuck I could lower the difficulty.
ID: h707d8bI find easy games to be more punishing because they are brand dead and boring
ID: h70kyu9Honestly, just the parring system is wack. I had to change my controls because I just could not adjust to using the bumpers to block. It’s feels unnatural.
-
Yes. Yes, you are. Prepare to suffer.
-
More like in for a lot of fun
ID: h707bk1Very true
-
Good luck! These games are amazing and I'm sure you'll have a blast.
ID: h708b7dThanks, I’m looking forward to it
-
I recommend playing DS2 first then 1 then 3. The controls are a lot clunkier so it could completely put you off playing after playing DS1. There’s a lot less links in the story to the other games anyway so it doesn’t really feel out of place playing it first.
ID: h70ct3aInteresting
ID: h70dkhzYeah put hours into 3 then 1 remastered for the platinum trophies then went to get it for the second game but was really put off with the feel of it.
-
Don't you love it when your guy takes his sweet ass time drinking his estus flask in DS2.
-
I bought sekiro not knowing it was affiliated with dark souls I thought it would be a slightly challenging ninja game boy was I wrong
-
Always been curious but I'm afraid I'd suck and just waste my money. Currently playing Code Vein on gamepass (a soulslike anime game) and I suck at that and people say it's easier in comparison. Even with a companion I've gotten stuck a lot and only barely skirted by so far with a 100% physical damage block weapon.
Wish these type of games had a story mode. Shame fans would rather gatekeep instead of making them more accessible. Especially since more and more games are copying this formula. When it was just dark souls I didn't care.
ID: h708qdaWhat the "fans" want is for Fromsoft to stick true to their vision and release the game that they want to release. I don't want an easy mode in Fromsoft games, but I'd still buy whatever they release regardless.
As long as a development studio that I love continues to do what they love, I'm happy.
ID: h70bmzlHonestly, I want them go back to making mech games and weird shit like ootogi and Echo Night.
ID: h70huc4Maybe you believe that but typically when people request an easy mode they are just downvoted and told to "git gud". They definitely gatekeep and would be mad if they added an easy mode.
Personally I think fans should want one. If not for themselves than to make the game more accessible to casuals fans. That can only result in more sales which could help fund bigger and better games.
ID: h7085r8That’s what understandable, Jedi fallen order is on ea access if you have game pass ultimate, it has some similar aspects to souls games while introducing a lot of new features where you can also choose your own difficulty. Also I’m pretty sure the souls game are on sale rn for pretty cheap on the Xbox store if you want to try one for quite cheap
ID: h70997eI did play Fallen Order and really enjoyed it. It was tough and I died a lot but I made it through eventually. Only on normal, though.
ID: h70e62rThe story is told passively through item descriptions. There are no quests or concrete objectives, it's just one giant gauntlet. If you want to make the game easier you can just stop progressing and level up until you're overpowered
ID: h70hiahFair enough, I don't really have interest in Dark Souls anyways, it's more the games copying it that I'm just interested in the story that bother me.
-
That's nothing compared to Bayonetta on the hardest difficulty.
-
Far more than you can Imagine.
-
Dark souls 2 was my fav of those three followed by sekiro and then og
-
1 really isn’t hard and it is an amazing game. I’ve hear 2 has problems and sekrio is pretty tough.
-
So I first played Bloodborne, and then Demon Souls remake, and then DS3. I decided to play DS1 next and now I get where the trauma comes from.
ID: h70rylfTwo has too much enemy density and bonfire distances are either too close.or three states over
ID: h70s390That’s the one I will play last, after I finish with DS1.
