- "We hoped you enjoyed Stray in the AI Showcase! As we don't want to compromise on quality, nor the team's well-being we now aim for early 2022. Thank you for understanding and we can’t wait to show you more next year!"

I am super stoked for this game.
ID: h70gzuqID: h711m96I thought it was a live showcase of a game with one player and a bunch of AI in order to show off that you couldn’t find the player due to the AI realism.
Turns out it’s like a cat thing? Cool, I like new titles or fresh ideas.
ID: h71bql1I guess I'm out of the loop... can anyone catch me up on what the AI showcase is/was?
-
Take your time to polish it and make that dualsense purr
ID: h70da0vMan I completely forgot about haptics! Hopefully this game implements it well, it could be amazing.
ID: h71sgstI am really looking forward to see games that actually utilize the haptics !
ID: h72k0sdReturnal does an unbelievable job of utilising haptics if you're interested in that sort of game 🙂

Man, this trailer SOLD me.
ID: h7167a0I just hope they don’t Deathloop us with trailers. This was perfect.
ID: h7196ifIf I could suggest something: whenever you’re excited about a movie or game or something, and you feel like “I am sold on this” especially to the point where you might say something like “This was perfect”, don’t watch any more trailers (if you know for sure you’re gonna get it).
I’ve been on a trailer blackout and have been enjoying movies and shows a lot more when I go in knowing as little as possible. Obviously for games, wait for reviews and watch gameplay if you need to know more. But maybe give yourself a month without previews and watch things based on who wrote/directed/starred in it and what you think of their previous work, or what dev studios made before that game, etc. and see what you think. It’s amazing to have that perfect first playthrough where you’re open to anything and coming in with no expectations at all. I wish I could wipe my memory and play a lot of games again for the first time (like RDR1+2, TLOU, BioShock+Infinite, and SpecOps: The Line).

Haptic feedback on this will be really unique. Looking forward to this one
ID: h72v507Probably lots of drone piloting
-
Kitty game in 2022, I'm looking forward to it
-
If the choice is between playing it at a later date or crunching the devs to death, I’ll gladly wait a bit more. The game looks absolutely gorgeous!
-
Please come with a collectors edition that has a cat figurine included!
ID: h71tylbthe collector’s edition will come with an actual cat instead

As much as I want to play this game, and after seeing the gameplay trailer I really, really want to play this game, I respect them for taking as much time as they need. Cats, even game cats, deserve only the best from humans.
-
Good. I prefer they focus on quality instead of just putting out the game as soon as possible.
ID: h726ad9And also employee’s that don’t have to crunch like crazy and can (hopefully) get normal sleep before launch. i.e. not Naughty Dog style.
-
Everything I saw looked pretty interesting. I loved watching the walkthrough. Can't wait to see what you showcase next!
-
Honestly, I think this game looks very promising, I really enjoyed what I saw. After Returnal, this seems like the next PS game that's taking risks, and things are looking up.
-
Disappointed that we are looking at atleast a 6 month wait... but I really liked what I saw.
Plus I have a crazy cat lady for a wife so I guess its day 1 lol
-
Goty.
But sir the game isn't even out yet
GOTY. -
This game looks awesome.
-
Take your time. My backlog will thank you.
-
Game looks fantastic but I hate being chased so gonna have fun with this one haha.
-
Damn, 2022 gonna be stacked like a phat ass.
-
Kind of a shame about the delay, but I guess it makes sense they don't want it out in the Holiday market.
-
Take as much as you need, we don't want cyberpunk strategies here.
-
But can we customize how our cat looks??
-
Now aiming, so it is probably gonna be halfway through 2022.
ID: h6ztv8gThey can take as long as they want. I don’t give a single fuck about the release date. I just want a fully realized, fully polished, high quality cat/robot game.
ID: h6zygsrFully realized, fully polished cat/robot game made by workers who didn't jeopardize their health/safety for our entertainment? Count me in!
-
Delayed. Jesus. Companies these days are a joke. Any other industry people would lose jobs over these types of delays.
ID: h71pak3You should make a game yourself and release it on the first announced date, just to spite them.
ID: h72j52qDon’t set unrealistic goals in future. It’s basically lesson one of project management.
-
You have my money anna purna
-
After Cyberpunk, I will never, EVER, complain about delays.
-
I'm not 100% sure the gameplay will be enough to keep me engaged (it does look fun), but the aesthetics are superb.
ID: h732e2eIt looks fun but that won't keep you engaged? What else do you need?
-
So April 2022? I'm cool with that, take all the time you need! I'm super excited for this game!
-
Actually looks even better than I thought, looking forward to it.
-
This game looks awesome can't wait though to get the best quality im happy too but damn seems every major game this year has got delayed til next year.
PlayStation 2021 the year of delays.
-
Would much much rather wait for a better product. Game looks incredibly fun, it was always on my radar but definitely excited for its eventual release!
-
Anyone know if this will be a full game (70$) or a smaller release? I hope it's a full game with tons of content because that world looks amazing. It'd be a bummer to finish it in less than 5 hours

My dumbass wanted to find the showcase so I looked up ‘Stray in the AI’ thinking that was the title lol
