It's xbox players, just check some of the accounts who rated 0. they gave 0 to all PS5 games and 10 to any xbox ones

For good reason. People are pissed about being charged $10 for an upgrade that is barely an upgrade.

I get the anger towards the upgrade path, but I have no doubt these are the same people who pay 5 quid every morning for a cup of coffee from starbucks before going work.
And the DLC is actually amazing, and is of decent length.

What does that have to do with anything? I get that this is a gaming subreddit, but you do understand that people have different opinions and value things differently than others, right?

I'm sure it is, but personally I'd rather not spend another $10 just to play the PS5 version on top of having to buy the dlc still, especially when companies are allowing free upgrades for PS4 versions all over the place. I'll catch it when it drops to $20 like all the other 1st party exclusives eventually do.

i dont care about the upgrade price but even DF said it is literally worthless, if this was a standalone upgrade that was released before any mention of DLC it would get way more hate
You're basically paying for the DLC and some extra goodies like haptics, triggers etc. Is 10$ to much for a 10h single player expansion?
Just to clarify, the 10hr expansion is 20$ and the 10$ extra is literally just for haptics, japanese lip sync and the supposed visual improvements (which isnt noticeably different).
User review aggregates are always useless. You can sometimes find some well-written singular reviews, but the aggregate gets completely messed up not only by trolls, but by people who just don't have any nuance when it comes to scoring. I've seen many people on sites like Metacritic who essentially give every game they enjoy a 10 and every game they don't like a 0. They treat the review like a yes or no question.
Review aggregates in general are useless because scales aren't the same across publications. Is a 3/5 at one publication really the same as a 60/100 at another? It just doesn't make sense and lacks all context.

People be upset about everything these days, cook at home instead of going out for one meal and you should be fine. Relax, people are working here and they not doing it for free, they didn't charge for the multi-player mode and they didn't have to make it but they did. So all these stupid haters get your priorities straight instead of worrying about a 10 bucks upgrade. There are a million things going on right now which needs our attention and it's definitely not this
