The way I scale pilots strength is by using spectres. In game spectres absolutely destroy grunts with them easily overpowering them, breaking bones and snapping necks. In tf1 we see an execution where a spectre subdue a grunt with just 1 arm and then proceeds to break that grunts neck. There is also a quote in tf1 where a grunt ask his squad mates if they ever seen a spectre rip off a persons head implying that spectres are strong enough to rip of parts of the body. In paths STFO we see near the end of the fight scene the spectre picks up path over head and slams him on the ground. Remember, pathfinder is 937lbs and the spectre is lifting him up overhead like it’s nothing. Now pilots easily overpower spectres, we see in trailers and cinematics that pilots can easily overpower and beat a spectre in hand-to-hand combat. With this information you could put pilots lifting strength atleast 1000lbs+. I also haven’t mention the Gs that pilots endure from all their wall running and parkour movements but I think it’s possible to say that it’s the suit that’s helping them with that. Also apparently theirs more to pilot suits then just a collection of different armor pieces. Some how lastimosa suit could protect Jack from deadly radiation despite their being areas of skin exposed so it’s possible the suit gives them all the power? It’s also possible pilots are neurological augmented with their neural link with titans, or they become augmented through the link. ID: gq2hwdnManny a writer for titanfall said most pilots are just highly trained humans. Although with access to the best gear available in the outlands. A lot of grunt chatter in titanfall will key you in on the possible gear pilots can get. In titanfall a grunt talked about being able to rip off someone's head with the right gear. Its definitely possible to get biological augmentations if titanfall burn cards are anything to go off of but a large majority of pilots are just banglore level.Then there is also simulacrums with obvious advantages over regular humans. Experienced simulacrums would usually be the strongest pilots.
Not all pilots are made equal especially mercenary pilots. Imc pilots are the usually the most trained and strongest. The militia and merc pilots have various skill levels.
I would say in terms of recent lore the legends are pretty much pilot level in terms of skill even tho pilots come in a variety of different skill levels above grunts. Hell Bangalore's heirloom (a data knife since it has the signature chip used to hack specters) was taken off the dead body off a pilot she killed.

ID: gq57a73I don't think the fact that they can beat a spectre in hand to hand is a measure of lifting capacity, a human pilot shouldn't be able to lift 1000+ it's more a measure of fighting technique, they can use the weight of the spectres and their strength against them using gravity and stuff like that, not just pound for pound muscle.

Bangalore's parents were both IMC infantry, that is, grunts. If we assume for a moment that Bangalore, a professional soldier, is on par with her parents, then a pilot could sweep the Apex games without breaking a sweat.

ID: gq5i1tjBangalore's mother was a pilot and so was her brother that disappeared. Highly likely the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The legends are honestly pilot level. You don't have to have the certificate in order to be as good as one. Militia pilots are a perfect example since they came in a variety of different skill levels from black market training.

Just started to get into Titanfall verse via Apex and I’m hooked. Definitely a very well realized sci-fi universe.

ID: gq5wfgyI mean yeah it’s because he frag boosted and essentially flew through the course. I guess it makes sense he would have the the WR because no pilot is dumb enough to blow off their legs.

I’m just hoping there will be a legend that was once a Milita pilot maybe jack Cooper or somebody that probably knew or looked up to him and maybe aspires to be the best. But thats up for Respawn to decide

Titan Pilots, same as Infantry Grunts, come in a wide range of quality. During the Battle of Typhoon, Jack Cooper was able to eliminate quite a few IMC & old Thunderdome Apex Predator Titan Pilots. Jack can destroy a Reaper via melee, turn invisible & resist irradiation with exposed skin, heal without extra medical equipment, & we gotta take note of the artistic liberties taken with these things. Cooper is transhuman & well trained but so are many of the Apex Legends. Hell, we know many Outlands thugs are too. So, in this universe, we need to remember that transhuman augmentations & even post-humanism is possible if you know where to look & have the right connections. The old Black Market had a wide selection available to everyone able to make a deal, after all.

Didn’t revenant wipe out many thousands of the IMC which theoretically means he had to go up against a pilot at least once

I think the augmentations are drugs like octanes stim. Jack managed to have the strength of a pilot due to the lastimosa injected it into him to help him recover (i think it can also have regenerative abilities, that would explain the your health regen in titanfall 2. I think the things that the augments are: stonger things like bones, faster reaction time and stim.
