Favorite thing about this game and the player base.
Having a mic but not using until he/she is knocked to either talk shit or to be questioned why we didnt help when he or she is 300m away

Can we please get a mercenary mode in pubs where only random / solo players play against each other.
Let the 3 stacks have their own queue. There's enough players to split the queues and people won't mind waiting an extra few extra seconds if the matches are balanced
I usually play about 1000 games each split .... this split I've only played 150 (mainly ranked) as soloing in pubs is just horrible now with the matchmaking and the amount of pre-mades I'm dying to, Its just not fun anymore.
I spend more time in firing range then I do playing the actual game because the matchmaking is so bad.
I've no problem dying to predators or masters in pubs .... but not when they 3 stack it just makes me turn off the game

Leave “fill teammates” off when I check the box for it until I turn it back on. It’s kinda annoying having to constantly turn it off whenever I finish a solo match

I’m about to hit plat so that might change but so far the games feel a lot fairer
ID: hby36g7Hitting plat was like hitting a brick wall in terms of fun. Gold players tend to stick with the squad and actually try to be team players. Plat 3/4 is just filled with TTV Octane/Wraith mains that think they can solo the entire lobby, die instantly, then spam ping until they inevitably DC.

does the recent trend of legend releases (s7-s10 all having hyper aggressive assault or assault like recon legends) have anything to do with the larger and generally more sweaty/aggressive community since the resurgence of apex
some more supports, defense or general teamplay focused legends would be awesome to see (especially since a new support means blue bins could be a class passive)

I desperately need to talk about something. The voice system.
It's horrible. It's so low quality, it turns into being inaudible. When people use it, it's almost a prerequisite to have voice to text on so you can try and interpret a quarter of what they're saying, and even then it's still gibberish.

Pubs matchmaking is still just unfun as it always has been. EOMM needs to go.

ID: hbxkjwhThe wait time between quality games is fucking horrendous. I would much rather spend a few more minutes in queue knowing the games are balanced than have to wait through multiple stomps where I can be some pred player's bot opponent.
Also, if everyone had to wait a bit longer in queue, maybe we wouldn't get a quarter of the lobby hot dropping and dying at fragment every game.
ID: hbxmmm3It's so obvious, too. The fact that people reverse boost after a win shows that it was created with the primary intention to manipulate (and maximize) engagement.
You can try it out if you don't believe me:

It's exploitable, it has no semblance of skill, and it frustrates good players because they have higher win rates than the average.
Forcing them to adhere to Respawn's standard of "average" (1.0 KDR, 5% win rate) is appalling. But it stays in the game because it benefits bad and mediocre players who love to get carried (as they are more likely to buy skins when they win). Until they become above average, and then they will hate the matchmaking.
Long term this game is fucked if they keep EOMM.
ID: hbygnghThey've continued this path for over a year now and if I'm not mistaken, the most recorded player count was last season. Exploitative shit like this is in the game because it's manipulative and that's why it works. Only laws can stop such things although idk if there's any basis for a case against rigged matchmaking other than an ethical one.
Also, such systems destroys the integrity of badges and ruins partying up with randoms. But hey as long as people are manipulated psychologically to play more, Respawn still wins right?

Yo any chance of not being matched with bronzes and silvers in arenas ranked if you’re in diamond. It is the fucking worst. I legit got 15 knocks and still lost 99 points. That is unbelievably bullshit

WHY can't I play with my silver 1 friend in arenas just because I'm plat 1? When I play by myself my duo teammates are ALWAYS silver and bronze (and a octane) What the hell

Get a ping restriction for servers already. It ruins the game for everyone.

I think Rank lvl requirement should be raised. Amount of smurfs is unbearable.
I also have a sneaking suspicion there's a rigged matchmaking of sorts in ranked. Once I get to plat 1 I get nothing but trash as teammates, but dropping to plat 2 I occasionally get great teams.

Going for diamond for the first time since season3. I now remember why so many are hard stuck plat4s they are terrible. Hot drop, trying to 1v3 constantly then ping their banner 95 times when they ran off to fight. Literally the most toxic players I’ve seen is always plat4. This weekend was horrible to the point forget going for Dia solo queue again I’m unsure I even want this game on my Xbox

Anyone else have Rampart in the "Waiting for players" screen? She says "Pffft, nope" and then the character selection plays out. Not game breaking, but pretty weird

One teammate disconnected on ch select. We load up ranked match as duos. We played risky, thinking there will be no penalty. Guess what? -36. Thanks.

What is the point in Fragment getting Hotzones? Surely Hotzones should be used to make less popular places more attractive. Having it be Hotzones just makes ranked games hell.

How do I play solo ranked and my teammates always want to drop hot/Fragment?
Literally every time we die 1-2 fights in and get negative RP. The only way I climb is when we drop far and get full KP and get top 3.
ID: hbzgatvTell them that if they're dropping Fragment, you're landing somewhere else. Make sure you switch their pings and voice off if they still go to Fragment. You can get to Plat (slowly) just ratting. People's brains seem to start working in Plat.

ID: hbyne56The servers are fine. The insanely strict skill based matchmaking system puts everything into servers they have shit latency to which is why the game is so laggy nowadays. The more they increase the SBMM the laggier it becomes.

Any suggestions on how to fix lab on Xbox? It is borderline unplayable, just random lag spikes every 3 seconds. I am Ethernet on good internet

Gotta say both the volt and the caustic skin have a very pleasing colour scheme. Some of the best skins coming from the arena challenges.

Solo queue is horrible.

When you swap with a shield from the ground, they should put a 0.3s delay before you can pick up the shield you just dropped. So many times I double swap by accident.

Seer stopping your actions is still the most annoying and unnecessary thing in this game
