Small Spoilers for those who haven't read the book yet.
In Linelines chapter, just after she talks to her parents about their war profiteering, she talks about DOCs programming and specifically mentions that all Chevrex products have a permanent memory processor and that no one could wipe it. [pg. 21]
This made me think, what if at the end of Season 7s comic where its shown that Octane was telling the story to DOC, and DOC saves it once Octane left the room, that DOC was saving and subsequently uploading it to Chevrex? That would mean that mostly like Lifelines parents know about the adventure including the part where Octane reveals his parents orchestrated the attack. I don't know how this would play into the lore or what game actions would become of it, but I still think it's a cool idea.
Another thought that would help this claim is that in the little aside about Chevrex on pg. 14 it mentions that the number one product they sell is Security Monitoring Systems. What if all Chevrex products with those processors collect information from their users? Then Chevrex could make even more profit selling information that their products collect.
Also I just got the book and am reading through it now, so if this theory gets completely debunked later on, just let me know.

If they listened/spied on lifelines life though DOC I think her parents would like her more
