ID: gq3t90kThere would have to be a lot of tweaking involved when it comes to Sentry Turrets, as in TF2 these things could take a hit and could laserbeam you from afar off.
The only way it could work in Apex is if it had a slow lock-on time and its damage output significantly reduced.
Even the most hard hitting DPS Ultimates in the game aren't so much about getting damage, but suppressing the enemy to allow you to push them and/or buy you time to recover.
There's a lot of elements from Titanfall 2 that I strongly believe could carry over into Apex, but when I look at the Sentry Turrets I can't help but think that those would be problematic in implementing.
