I REALLY really wish there was a way to just turn someone’s mic volume up or down. Either I can’t hear a word they are saying or I can’t hear any gameplay because their mic is so loud

Welcome to apex where you get killed by masters stack who gets killed by a pred stack who proceeds to gets third partied by a 20b/4k stack in a pub.
ID: ho09rznSoloqueuers being pitted against premade teams is 100% the biggest reason why matchmaking has been so dogshit ever since Season 3. Apex is the only team-based game that purposefully does that even during peak times. Oh yeah, also the only BR without a solo mode.

Ill bite. I am a 39 year old manchild i have been playing apex pretty much non stop since 1/2 thru season 1. Dont mistake that for meaning i am any good at the game. I just enjoy playing alot and would really like a few consistent friends to play with that at least are down to try and play as a team older with a preferably decent mic. I have 2k badges on a few characters and like to play valk loba caustic lifeline or wattson. Down for constructive crit i play at 9pm pst almost every night on playstation. Stankpootie on psn

I miss events like the Grand Soiree. Third person mode, Armed and Dangerous, Gold Rush Duos... back when LTMs were fun and Respawn actually tried new things.
Since season 8's LTM disaster I'm finding it more and more likely that they'll never release a new LTM, ahem, takeover.

Something needs to be done about people who use strike pack. I'm positive that there can be some sort of way to detect it. Like a pistol, Hemlock, etc shouldn't be able to be fired that fast. I had a teammate in ranked arenas used it (there username literally was strikepack user) and I felt so bad for the enemy team. I made sure to call him a loser 😉 But im pretty sure I'm just gonna stop playing the game soon if it continues. Its so unfair and it's not fun at all to compete against someone who just bought hacks because there not good. Hell I remember strikepacks being sold at Walmart like wtf.
Sorry about the rant but it seems like everyday more and more ppl are using it and I'm so tired of it. Doesn't even seem like Microsoft or Sony has even tried anything. It's ruining alot of games, but especially Apex. Why practice and get better when you can just buy a cheap cheat..

I just played the sweatiest pubs of my life holy shit. It actually felt like we were playing an algs game using heat shields in final ring. Pubs are insanely sweaty now lol

I'd love to see the backend numbers that support that the mass majority of players like both BR and Arena's and that's why they make events forcing us to play both.
I highly doubt that data exists so why the hell are they forcing us to play something we don't enjoy?

Load into a solo pub, looking at my level 22 and 35 teammate, and see 10 squads of diamond/maste
dropping trails, seriously fuck your heavily biased and stale matchmaking -
If you're a duo in Apex, don't treat your 3rd teammate like they're the enemy.....

Yesterday I got matched with two very low levels. We get into a fight and get 3rd partied so put down a portal. 1 guy kamikazes himself into a team and DCs. The other goes down but does use the portal so I res him. We end up surviving somehow and only 1 other squad left lol.
We run up some hill and get shot from behind, the guy (fuse) shoots in front of him instead and nearly ults in front of him as well. Had to spam ping for him to look the other way
I start beaming down the hill downing 2 of them while the fuse is getting shot at by the other dude while standing out in the open. I ping a bat, doesn’t pick it up, I tell him to heal, doesn’t do that, then get rushed by a no footstep bloodhound that ulted. I die, fuse dies 0,5 seconds later.
Like, bless him its not his fault but wtf is this shit lol. This was pubs but still. The better I become the more frustrating soloq gets.

ID: ho2frptI got a level 6 who literally didn't know his controls or what he was doing. He'd scan randomly while looking at the ground. He'd ping randomly despite no one being there.
The kicker? I'm a diamond 1 player. How the hell can they continue to lie and say EOMM doesn't exist? Either it exists or SBMM is a pile of steaming shit.

It's amazing how bad the teammates I get can get. Had one that somehow god knows how remained alive the entire game and did 36 damage total. 36 ! How ?? Had about 80 times that...

Reminder that the mods deleted a thread with 3,000 comments yesterday after it had been up for hours. Their reasoning was that “low-effort or low-quality posts hinder meaningful discussion from flourishing…”. Meanwhile, there’s 3,000 comments. The only thing that hinders meaningful discussion on this sub are the mods themselves.
Reminder that this sub was set up beforehand by the devs and then carefully handed off to someone that was hand picked by Respawn themselves (but I’m sure it’s still a community run subreddit lol).
Reminder that if you ask the mods to let the community decide the direction of this sub, they’ll tell you that the community doesn’t get to decide how a community run subreddit is run (the sub calls itself a community run, developer supported subreddit. What a load of crock that is).
